I thought I’ve read some hotfix notes about bearers HP buff according to the feedback of players being upset about their nerf.
So I placed new T4 bearer and it had only something around 1400-1500 starting HP on level 0. Conan wiki still says this thrall should have over 4000 HP.
Andy stated that they changed it back FOR NOW, but they will adjust their HP in the next update, because they are not ok with them being tanky. But where is the rollback change? The thralls are still weaker than they should be.
Try leveling it up. They don’t have a large amount of starting health, but they get a ton of it per vitality. If they had a ton of health to start with, they’d have that much health in the wild, which doesn’t make any sense.
I have a T3 Bearer currently on my new playthrough that has around 4k health and they’re only level 5.
I think it has more to do with Tribe. Kathibria is from Dogs of the Desert. Where as the Nordheimer Bearer III is I assume from Heirs of the North. It wouldn’t surprise me that a III from one would have more HP and better stats than a named from a lesser tribe.
Bearers are also a bit problematic since they are technically ‘slaves’ of the area you find them in, meaning they come from tribes not associated with their peers. Its really hit or miss what you get.
I will say this, the Bearer I have had way more health and was way tougher than the NPCs they were with.
I can’t find the post, but FC also published that some of the bearers didn’t get fixed with the hotfix, they are working on fixing the rest of them with the next patch. So it may be that Kathibria is one of the bearers who hasn’t been fixed yet.
In the thread I have linked at the bottom of this post, from Jan 23 (well before the thrall nerf) @Xevyr has a link to a spreadsheet that shows different information than the wiki. Look for the link to “Conan Thrall Stats - Updated A2C3”. If you open that spreadsheet it shows the following for Kathibria Featherstep’s base stats:
Starting Health = 1,300
Health per Vitality = 93.37
Starting Vitality = 0
For your Kathibria these numbers make sense. At Lvl 9 she has:
Vitality = 13
Vitality Health bonus = 1,213
If we add her starting health and her health bonus we get the right number.
Total Health = 1,300 + 1,213 = 2,513
Since the information in his spreadsheet (which I’m pretty sure he extracted from the dev kit) is different from the wiki I see two possible answers:
The wiki hasn’t had the thrall stats updated since before he created the spreadsheet in January, and his numbers show what Kathibria is supposed to look like.
…or…
Xeyvr updated his spreadsheet after the nerf, which means it shows post-nerf numbers for Kathibria. If this is the case then the wiki shows what her numbers will look like after the bearer’s get un-nerfed, and when that happens your Kathibria will get a boost.
