I have not asked for a purge, still I have lost most of my good thralls and animals inside 2 weeks time.
This is a PVE server and as far as I understand, purge should only occur if I request it. Also, it appears early mornings when I work… Which should not be possible according to new purge rules, right?

On a PvE Official server it’s possible to intentionally and or unintentionally kill thralls of other players.
If there is a 3 skull boss nearby, someone can train and or pull the 3 skull into your thralls.
The 2nd possibility is via the purge. If you’re neighbor summons a purge, the purge npcs can aggro your thralls on the way to your neighbors coffer.
Easiest fix for both of these is to put your thralls inside your walls. The other option is to talk to them. Maybe catch them in Global sometime or leave them a message with various in game signs/notes etc.
They were purges, I looked at the history log (screenshot them). So you are saying someone close to me initated the purge and they hit ME instead? I don’t think I have any large(ish) settlements close to me…
They didn’t accidentally kill my thralls, they destroyed doors and killed a lot of thralls inside my base…
I guess I will just pack up and move…
