There’s a new survery up:
It asks which battlepass we liked most. You can revisit them here:
The focus obviously is on opening new revenue streams and the bazaar. Not a good sign about the game’s financial status.

The game’s financial status would have been better if they sticked to the DLC instead of the Bazaar - Even with less items sold.
I would have put the former battlepass as DLC with a slightly increased cost.
In other words: Trying to make their customers to not feel robbed by the price.
The game has been slowing losing players over the past year…at least that what steam charts shows. Not sure if there is a better cumulative player count for all platforms.
There does not seem to be a clear direction for the game…perhaps lack of good leadership. They release updates and break things that are completely unrelated to patch notes. They introduced fatalities and little event that spawns an enemy and some inventory changes…somehow gazelle become apathetic…
I think they dug themselves into a hole. There have been so many bugs that have accumulated over the years and balance issues from changes, dlc, and bazaar items that the amount of work to correct this is beyond their revenue.
Not happy about it…I like the Conan universe but it looks like a slow burn leading up to Dune’s release.
Ok, survey is done, where’s my croms?
One thing intrigued me, for future content there’s a “new map/map extension” answer.
If they are asking for a map extension, it must ultimately not be as impossible to do as they let it out to be at the time, otherwise they would not have put the option in place.
dennis said there’s some room to expand… but not much. It’s not a question really of raw space, so much as by expanding, it could introduce performance issues. If it were a big priority for players tho, maybe it’s worth it.
Parts of the map can be redesigned, a lot could be done with the northern jungles.
For the survey, review the battle passes of the past because there are some questions about history.
They could have connected maps on different servers and so you connect to a different map via a load screen and therefore it’s an expansion but done in a way that the original map is still there.
Good idea, and there are several other underused areas, e. g.
There are some viable build areas there, but all of these areas have no lore, no unique features and feel quite empty.
Enough to space to implement some stuff.
Like Telith’s ghost, for example.
Can you show me the revenue earned before and after? Actual revenue and not correlations.
Do you have proof of this?
Hostile? Really? A real threat on you and your loved ones? That’s how you take the pricing of videogame micro transactions?
Language barriers, friend.
It can be proven, just not with data we have. FC knows the financial implications of the changes. If dlc were more profitable, you bet your butt they’d be back.
Fair point. Just trying to keep it real and melodrama down.
@Wak4863, @Pixelcave and @Eradicati0n, you deserve it my friends, thank you for your outstanding job all this time .
Funcom please! No more “ready” stories and lore boundaries!!!
Fix an untold story, leave the TV series aside.
Northern jungle is one of the best biomes of this game. It’s best to stay as it is. All it needs is a new dungeon, but the biome is perfect!
Done.
A little concerned/excited with some of the questions but answered honestly.
Seriously, it feels like a "I wonder how they actually feel about more ways to get mone… I mean the AoW Chapter 4 update "
Agreed, they can move the bracelet barrier posts to give us more space easily imo.
Also i second the notion of bringing back the dlc bundles again.
They felt like you actually got your full moneys worth of value in those packs.
It’s a hard sell trying to get me to buy costumes at nearly 20 bucks give or take a pack when i used to get that and more in a bundle for under 12.
