Tanner journey step will not complete use a pick to collect bark. I am on a private server. Have equipped all the different picks will not complete.

Yeah, same with ā€œPowershot an enemyā€ and ā€œDefeat an enemy with a strength weapon,ā€ just to name what Iā€™ve noticed so far.

I also had an issue with tanner and the pick. Then I gave up and was just gathering wood and resin like normal with my pickaxe for building. It completed after about the 30th tree. I was like wtheck

Make Hardened Bricks in the Master Mason journey not working.

Thrall Taking isnā€™t working - I have placed several ā€˜crafting thrallsā€™ in the correct crafting stations and this step isnā€™t being ā€˜ticked offā€™.

While Iā€™m here I canā€™t even start the ā€˜Survivorā€™ Journey, so with my OCD this is gonnaā€™ bug the hell out of me.

Seems Journey steps also have to be done in exact order. This makes many journey steps extremely painful to complete. For instance, any that require you to learn a certain skill. You have to unlearn ALL your skills unless a new player and havenā€™t learned those basic skills yet.

The old journey steps auto completed anything you did that was a journey step, regardless of the order it was in. The current system is very much forcing a player to progress through Conan in a very specific pattern of discovery. You must eat before you drink! You must pick up rocks before you pick up sticks!

I have a sorc book that is complete. Steps want me to upgrade my book. Oops.

I donā€™t think players want to be forced to follow this exact path of progression and have to undo or redo so many steps.

I was actually excited to see this new system, but with the way it was implemented, I am losing interest pretty quickly. Hopefully this will b addressed?

For collecting bark make sure you have none in your inventry then it will work this applies to other items too hope this helps

I had several cases where journey steps did not complete as they should, but would complete much later. I dont know if its just lagging, poor server performance, or what. But its noticeable. Many people are complaining about this thing, I was watching some streams last night and streamers had it too. Steps donā€™t complete when they should.

ps. I had to pick up the tome of Kurak twice for it to count as well

That particular part did autocomplete for me AFTER I had picked up a new tome of Kurak from the cave. But there were other steps that had issues.

Same issue here with the bark (fixed by logging out/in) and placing tanner table (still testing things out on this one).

Having the same issue with Mason journey stepā€¦no matter what I try to build or upgrade, does not complete the step. Frustrating!!

Remove all bark from your inventory then try it also helps to Use a stone pick just in case.

Iā€™m unable to get the tinkerer journey to work. It says to craft oil in fluid press. I do that and it doesnā€™t accept it to complete the task.

I just did it again, no issue.

Did you put coal in the fluid press? A lot of times you have to empty the work station, then try again.

I am also stuck on Find Hidden Sorcererā€™s cave. went in there and it did not update. will try again i guess.
