I waltzed into the dungeon, confident with my mask, only to realize it does not work in there. This cannot be intended.

Mask might be passive night vision. That requires some ambient light to function
If that is the case, which reading your post leaves little doubt, then that would explain the issue. I didn’t know about passive night vision, thanks; this makes this mask useless heh.
I used it last night along with torches. Found I preferred the torches I was using Glimmermoon alternately on Playstation private server.
im planning to use the glowing stick may it works better than torches and don’t get extinguished. The mask was a good idea dont believe they planned it but think it could make sense. Do the gas mask works in the poisonous clouds i saw in there?

I highly recommend the light wisp from Sorcery; particularly if you are running with a two-hander
This is true for the Night-Eye Potion as well. When in a room where there is some ambient light you can see the potion is working… barely.
