What makes you think new players have any clue that they should not have been able to be made a thrall, as for the Treasure seeker, she was not a 20k thrall, I had one of her, she was over 7500 yes and needed a bit of a nerf but not ruined and turned in to an archer after people had leveled her as a fighters. That was uncalled for and they did not say they changed her to a archer they just did it and did not care about players who had leveled her as a fighter.
If you find a thrall and has 20k hp or more , it is a matter of time before it get nerfed, if you know a thall can have 20k dont level it , or if you do do not conplaint if it get nerfed. Simply enjoy it while it last
she allways had more agility than strength in the hiden stats.. what was good on her was the HP but this RP fake kingdom pseudo builder people just want to ruin the game… and they tend to be selfish and coward and report and complaint about this kind of non issues…
just wish they solve the real and important Map markers issue that its not fixed yet just because they lose too much time nerfing tralls and dedicating time to non issues…

This is really a sad story. Maybe Funcom will fix this problem after several months, a year or even several years. Since 2018, every update patch they release may fix an unimportant bug, but bring more major bugs. We have to believe in Funcom’s ability to solve problems. After all, no game company has so many talented people like Funcom.
25 days, 25 and more than 106 people have commented on this thread alone, and over 800 on four threads total. The problem is not just map icons; it’s that any action related to map icons, i.e., the summon corps spell, does not work in that case because there is no death marker icon. Fix it please! Give this some priority; untold hours of work are being lost because either you can’t recall your corpse or you can’t find it in the first place. Armor, weapons, and other resources take time and effort. Please put some time and effort into fixing this problem.
This problem has been going on for over a month, so why on earth don’t it being fixed?
until yesterday I thought everyone was affected, but then 2 players said they have all map markers
I would strongly recommend not deleting your character to fix this. The issue isn’t fixed so it’s just gonna end up happening to your new character as well
I’m certainly not deleting it. I’ve been playing this character for 2,900 hours and have been playing on the European server 1022 PVE. I have all the DLCs and I’ve spent money in the shop. I’m certainly not the one who created the problem.
Just so it is clear, deleting your character won’t stop you from accessing your account wide purchases.
It will wipe the knowledge that character gained from that server such as recipes from POIs.
Not suggesting you should, simply clarifying for you and others in case.
My friends and I are not experiencing any of the issues mentioned, but then again, we don’t have a server atm lol.
hope that recreating the char was not the only solution, meanwhile paper and pen to mark the important coordinate will be my work around, like in old times. Before the save functionalities does no existed on games and we had to write down the lvl codes to resume playing.
I’ve been playing since it came out and I think I know very well that I won’t lose anything I’ve purchased, but that’s not the focus since everything worked until the patch was up, so they have to restore things for me.
Update: I’m currently in-game, and Steam tells me I have 3005 hours. So, if you’ll allow me, can I at least ask if the map is being restored? It’s not just me on my server, but there are about 10 of us, many of whom are veterans like me.
You’re right, it isn’t the focus, but newer players or those that do not know might read what you say and believe it wipes access.
I was only clarifying and wasn’t necessarily implying you’re ignorant of that fact.
Please fix the map markers issue… i have 4k hours in game and my oldest char is affected with this bug…i know people with the same time and even more time than me affected with this issue and this is important for older players that supported and enjoyed this game for many many years…
