I’ve been playing for a few days and so far no sandstorm appeared. I remember other times when I started playing, a sandstorm would appear on the second day (in game). I don’t know if this is a bug or a problem on my end, I play on the PS4 Slim, single player mode, the “enable sandstorm” option is marked on the server settings so… I don’t know.
I don’t have a PS Plus subscription to check on a official server so if anyone could confirm that for me I would really appreciate 
(Yes, I like sandstorms, don’t judge me)
Edit: I’m also having problems with delay sounds and texture loading, just in case this is related.

I also play singleplayer (on pc) and would say it might still be normal. I can’t say for sure that there isn’t a problem, but I feel like I’m getting sandstorms on more like a four or five day cycle, so it may just not have happened yet. Others may have more data, and of course the situation could always be different on different platforms, but it may just be that it’s still on it’s way
Nothing wrong with that They are visually quite stunning - I’ve often tried to capture screenshots of the sandstorm boiling across the land, but without the movement it always loses something of the true essence.

I’ll be waiting for the storm but I’m afraid it’s related to the performance issues I’m having since the Isle of Siptah update. But who knows… maybe she will surprise me at any moment.

They seem pretty random to me, Sone times I won’t see one when I play for several hours, but the other day I got 2 within one circuit through the unnamed city.
The second one was right before I left, it had just died when I teleported to the sinkhole just in time for it to hit there.
I didn’t really ever think about the way the storm literally rolls through the desert before. Video games sure have come a crazy long way

It’s a really cool feature, and they made in a way that it’s kinda beautiful. It’s not just brown particles flying in your screen, like the Mad Max game where the storm spawns right in your face. In Conan there’s literally a giant wall of sand rolling through the desert. It makes me wish for lightning storms and blizzards but maybe I’m asking too much.
Anyway, no sandstorm for me so far

They are definitely a site to see. I on ps4 but have not played enough offline to see one there.

But have you seen one recently in a private/official server?
It’s such a random thing so I understand it’s kinda hard to confirm it.

Sandstorms only spawn in the West-South of the map by the way. I play on PS4 currently on an online server with a group.

Yeah, I think there were a issue with my game. A few days playing and no storm appeared. I’ll try to reinstall, maybe it will fix itself.

Unfortunately I don’t have a PS Plus subscription. Maybe in the future when I manage to get one again
