This is not an isolated issued as both myself and a clan mate who lives in a different area suffered the same effects. As the tile mentions, suffered a massive lag spike yesterday (7/29) on the server starting around 8:30 pm PST. Was unable to log in as we kept getting a notice that the server was down. We performed the workaround of logging into our own games offline, but to no long lasting effect. We were able fully log into the server twice, but both attempts ended with another massive lag spike and disconnection from the server. Every attempt afterward to log in was met with a system message saying the server was down. As of 8:30am PST today, the same issues persisted.
We both have the game loaded on external drives, and have also suffered with on going connectivity issues since ownership of this game. This however is the worse instance of connectivity issues we have come across. We both paid full retail, yet the level of connectivity… it performs on the level of a Pre-alpha game. We enjoy the game play very much, but these bugs really bite into the enjoyment factor and makes us start to regret the purchase.
Please consider for a quick fix restarting the server to possibility fix the connectivity, while continuing to looking for a long term fix

We’ve looked into server #2734 and it is apparently stable, with on-going automatic daily restarts.
There’s no sign of downtime in the server log other than during restart.
We recommend a wired connection for additional stability, please let us know if the issues persist on this server after setting this up, and if you have issues with other servers in the same region.
Also, please rest assured that our team is actively looking into console specific issues and crashes, such as the dashboarding one.
I appreciate your attention and help with this issue. It’s understandable on the response delay, as staff was out on summer break. I just wonder if there is a way to announce through a reply bot that offices are closed or very reduced staff… so there is transparency there.
I also want to say I really enjoy this game. I have also enjoyed other games developed through Funcom… especially Conan Online.
I mention all this because I paid the full retail price on Conan Exiles based on my past experience and my trust I am getting a flushed out product. I can’t speak for others, but I think there is some forgiveness when there are bugs in games. However this disconnection bug in Conan Exiles happens daily from my experience. From what I read it’s not just me.
When you spend 20 mins trying to log in after following all the suggested steps to correct the error, and you still can’t get in…, it very frustrating. Especially since so much of this game is about having your attention… to defend what you build.
As I said previous, I really appreciate your attention and time… but your suggestion is basically telling me to spend more money to continue to play… even tho I already dropped the full retail price. To do a wire connection, I would have to buy a new cable… and from my assessment it MIGHT fix the issue… to put in another $30 investment… for a maybe fix… it’s not that shiny to me (to use a Firefly term:) )
I should be able to just play the game as is. I know you might be limited in what sort of answers you can give us… or anyone else having connection issues. My ask… I hope you advocate for us and help elevate the connection issues the top of the fix list. I and a lot of folks are really hoping to see this fix in a quickly upcoming patch. I would also ask to consider turning off purge and building damage on official forums until the stability issue is complete. I argue, to continue to let these two functions to continue… while these stability issues exists… is asking your players to play on an inequitable playing field as they are unable to defend themselves if they can’t log in
I am a player of the same server and I have the same problem, I am not an ally of Jarlaxle03, but I am witness to everything he says, at first he let me in but he took me out in the minutes but now the server does not answer me, in my Clan only affected a single member besides me my other companions never had a problem on the server and I have my raunter and cable nearby, the connection should not be the problem.
This is really a bummer. I’m having all the same issues. I have enjoyed this game for about 3 months now and have only one developed character, the one on this server. I haven’t been able to log in successfully for approximately 4 days, except one occasion, tonight. I logged in just long enough to adventure into a cave and DC while fighting, certainly losing all my gear… now I cannot log back in to try to retrieve anything.
I’m a big fan of Conan and online pvp games. This is not a client side issue.
No it isn’t a client side issue. And I dont think it’s Funcom’s fault either. You have to always remember that there are third party servers for this game. That being said, it may very well be an issue with G-portal
