Hey,
Tldr: does anyone have an original, spoiler-free list of the original Exile’s Journey? Not a walk through - but the names and descriptions as they apeared originally in-game.

I played Exiles a couple of years back and loved it. I took a break when life got more compex, and am ready to hop back in. One of my favorite aspects of the game was how the Journey was organized and presented. I loved stumbling across, what appeared to be, a “main quest” and story mode in the game completely organically after killing the Abyssal Remnant.

Hopping back on… the old journey is completely gone, and in its place is something that just feels… awful. Looking online, it seems like the whole “story mode” of the game is now gone (I reckon newer players might not even know this even existed in the game), replaced with just a series of overt checklists with the new journey system.

If Funcom wont give me this list, Id like to have it myself, and just cross them off in a paper journal as I play the game and journey on to the Tower of the Bat, and beyond in the quest to escape the Exiled Lands.

My problem is, I cant find the list of the old journey steps and their in-game descriptions anywhere. There are plenty of old youtube videos, steam guides, etc going over in detail how to complete them, but I dont want that. I want them as they appeared to players originally, and have the fun of figuring them out on my own. The official wiki seems to have almost completely wiped any mention of the original journey system altogether.

Any help on this would be awesome.

I’ll second that call - if anyone does have the old list out there, that’d be great. I did proofread the whole thing a few years back (completely wasted since it turned out to be just before they replaced it), but I’ve no idea where all those notes went.

The wiki documents things as they currently are, however, wikis keep a full record of every previous version of an article since its creation, so you can still find the old Journey article in the wiki’s history.

The Journey for Siptah was deleted, but even deleted articles are also kept in history, they are just unavailable to readers and regular editors without deletion rights. I am a Content Moderator on the wiki, so I can access the Siptah Journey as well. If you want to see that one, I could make it available again somewhere.

Thank you - this is perfect and exactly what I was looking for!
Personally, I have no interest in the Siptah Journey, but I’m not certain if anyone else shares the sentiment.

Good call :slight_smile: It’s a long time since I’ve seen a Vaniverse episode - I’d forgotten all about that channel. These certainly cover the journey steps in detail. Thank you for the link :slight_smile:

Thank you Tephra, that’s great :slight_smile: I’m also not too worried about the Siptah journey - but I would imagine there may be someone who would like access to it :slight_smile:
