I wait with place named workers few weeks after update becasue i not trust live servers beta, for now i use workers I-III

We have the bartender-missing and craft-thrall-not recognized bugs.
Seeing that I have trebuchet materials in my inventory, I suspect that it was destroyed.

I backed up my game files. I don’t know what to do. I was hoping to play tomorrow, but now that seems impossible.

What a dismal, unfortunate, and untested rollout. I am actually angry.

Edit: It is not as bad as I thought. Yes, we have missing bartenders. Though, part of the problem was: craft-thralls were not pre-populated in benches, and they could not be dragged into UI–until placed. I read up on the changes, and watched the video, yet this was not apparent.

Been on the beta server for 6 weeks? They added bugs going live.

Thralls move very slowly. Like sleepwalkers or zombies, but much slower. It turns out not a living settlement, but a settlement of walking sleepwalkers.

The Age of Heroes is actually the Age of Glorified Theater Kids if these ā€œheroesā€ are no better than Beserkers…

The thralls are lazy and sleep too often. The UI is not in the settings?

  1. Craftsmen now take up a slot, and the number of slots remains the same. :frowning_face:
  2. The workshop is empty and quiet - everyone is out walking somewhere. So we’ll get to the point where we’ll have to pay them for their work. :smiley:
  3. The problem with sorting inventory when using a non-English language hasn’t gone away. :angry:

I placed a sorcerer a few hours ago. then proceeded to place some more station thralls. went back to see how they were all doing and the sorcerer is gone. nothing in the event log either. just went poof.

They open doors and go quite far, if there is a bench there, maybe the sorcerer is just walking somewhere or sleeping on your bed. :smiley: If his icon is active in the machine-tool, then he is probably alive.

As I understand it, artisans work very little in a living settlement. They walk, sit by the fire and sleep. If they come to the workbench, it’s only for a very short time.
I would understand if they did this in the evening and at night. But during the day the thrall must work!
That’s why I disabled my living settlements in settings.
The short period of liberalism, socialism and sloppiness is over. :wink:

Seems like most people turning that off on their own servers. So my question is, was it really as wanted as they wanted to make it sound?
Or was it just waste if time instead of fixing stuff that is broken, or do they really need to mess with the core game over and over? Most of the time they make it work worse than before.

In my opinion 99% of the updates Den has been involved in has been broken or unnecessary in some way. Feels like he just brings his ideas wich most of the times is not even good, even if some people in here is raising them to the skyes. I guess some people has lower expectations on a game that has been out for 7-8 years than others. :slight_smile:
