Love the update - but experiencing problems with thrall pathing around some objects (they get stuck) and especially seating (they stand up but dont move away from table and benches - I even moved the benches and stools further from the table). Still falling through my own foundations - and thralls doing the same … pls Funcome - amazing game, does so much so well - your attention to these appreciated. Ty for all the hard work and loveliness!

When my crafts were still present , they work less than 10% of the time to observe, the rest of the time, they walked, are going to sleep on my bed (slaves who sleep in the bed of their master !!! lol) got stuck in the Deccor etc etc …
All bugs signalle by our tester friends are present !!! What is the Teslive for?!
Today by reconnecting to me 14 of my artisants we disappeared, they are always counting as present but impossible to locate them on the map, impossible to save them or destroy the link (message saying NPC not found).
With the ghost mode of the administrator panel I could find 3 artisants. They stole above the highlands near the aqueduct. As I am a owner of a private server, I can be the limit of NPCs but my exiled comrades who play on public server cannot !!
Cost like the artisants counts in the list of NPCs, our exiled friends cannot recruit new NPCs (insofar as the limit is reached) and cannot benefit from the craftsman who disappears (cannot be saved neither be removed from the list of followers).
Once more FunCom is set up a bachelor’s functionality, does not test and do not anticipate. This update which if it had been followed and corrected to were an undeniable plus. I must point out that the player allows the player to define the rests of rests of the artisants Aitrais was better because currently the bench are empty and the artisants are walking as they please (for slaves, such freedom is bizarre).
I dare not imagine anger, the frustration of our demands that play on public server, my thoughts go to you !! .
Once again: Funcom disappoints
PS : Being on a private server, I have deactivated this functionality full of bug

We put them in the world now. No longer place on bench.

Hopefully Funcom can fine-tune the amount of time crafters spend engaging needs vs working. I love the idea of living settlements (and have been using mods to achieve a similar effect), but I don’t want an empty workshop.

It´s a decent update in my opinion. But as you wrote, needs some fine-tuning.

nope, the sorcerer is no longer listed in my follower list and my follower count went down by one.

just had same thing happen in Siptah official 6111.

The green circle is my main base where I placed the sorcerer. the yellow circle is a secondary base. the red circle is where the map showed the sorcerer to be. I went to the location and she was not there and then the follower list showed her as returning home. 20 minutes later she was removed from my follower list and my count went down by one. nothing in the event log.

Thralls get hung up on coming off a nap and get stuck on the bed and not able to move. Also it appears the half staircases are things they cannot transverse.

How so was he nerfed?

Imagine taking a popular mod (Thralls Are Alive) and adding 24% of the functionality. In the mod, you can assign thralls to guard, patrol, train, rest, etc. You can set them to choose a specific path or a specific object to hang out around. You set their beds for them. You set their schedule, split into shifts (day, evening, night) so you can have a different set of guards patrolling each of those shifts.

Funcom tried this, and failed. We cannot assign beds to thralls. We cannot decide where they go. We cannot assign them shifts. They just…ARE. They do whatever tf they want, even if it makes no sense. If Funcom had taken the extra time they allotted for this update and polished the system and let you make these choices (this thrall works this shift, sleeps this shift, has free-time this shift) and let us assign beds we could have them hot bunking (basically 3 slots per bed, 1 per shift) and then when it was their shift to work, they’d actually be at their station. Could path between all those things. It would feel immensely better than what they gave us.

they are! this time around there was a group of people that was actively bringing how bad some parts of this update were, and they still push it. my guess is they do like pain.

yup, his vision of the game … has good intent. but he is NOT a gamer. settlement system was terribly executed. no player control and they changed the way we play the game without even asking…

tyhis time they have no excuse, some of us were very very vocal, and i am sure they got our comments but they did not care.

they changed a perfectly working system (inventory crafter thralls) by a buggy one, (like there is no bugs in the game to add more) . they should have added the roaming as optional for deployed thralls, just change the animation of crafter thralls for the new ones. and done… they coiuld have made it so inventory thralls change their clothing if you wanted to. (mods did this flawlessly)

my bases looks like empty husks., (not enough crafting thralls) , and the roaming ones the ai crash or get stuck on things. meaning you have empty crafting rooms, how is this lively? jesus!

yup like changing/removing dennis, and put someone who knows about gaming. the quest are really nice, the settlemetn system is just a disaster, dont tell me your settlemetn looks more alive now, 99% of the people at our server is or had complained aobut it)

exactly my point, they choose a ■■■■■■ implementation of what they should be doing, all of that is mostly cosmetic, (it just breath life, without adding any consequence to players, and it is full under player control) how exactly are we controling their behaviour? we are not controlling shit.

there was no need to do what they did to crafters. we had no consequence , now we got consequences… (ie take a thrall slot, (Bad move) , they are easy to kill even on pve, they open doors, mindlesly (pvp problem) they get lost and die, and a large list of problems listed by @Kikigirl

However, I’m playing this from scratch and outside of some combat not feeling right ( I’m not sure what changed but it’s off by just a fraction of enough to be noticed and annoyed by it) and it’s not a bad play through.

I think it goes back to this idea that devs are designing a new way while allowing player historic to remain but there are times the new will affect the old and in those cases, the new will trump the old. HOWEVER, I have a significant problem with their conflicting methodologies of event rewards being character and not player specific. If we are to take CE as a new experience on each age, you have to give use the exclusive content* to the player and not lock it as an in-game recipe for characters because once we recreate a character, we loose that exclusive content*.

*And don’t give me this crap about its not exclusive because the plan is to rotate the events back in. We all know if this is how you will introduce new content, you will switch out older stuff with new exciting gear and therefore the content from the older events become exclusive. Quit lying to yourselves.

I have the same situation now. :joy: I wanted to take the cook to another base. He disappeared from there and is now displayed on the map in the same place as your sorcerer. If you click “Rescue”, he appears nearby, hangs above the ground, when placed near the machine-tool or on the ground, he disappears again. But he has not disappeared from the list of followers yet.
It seems it’s better not to touch valuable followers at all for now.

Even if/when they bring new content back, they do it in a very tight time period, essentially relegating anyone who might want those things to focus solely on that, which removes the sandbox-y, play as you like appeal of the game. I want to seek out the challenges when I am ready, not grind for them. I want to do activities naturally as it works for my character, not just rush to them when made available by the devs.

I rushed through the Sacred Hunt for a character that I really wanted to have engage with that content and for whom it made sense to participate. But she wasn’t ready (super low level, hadn’t explored things yet to have any in-game/immersive knowledge of said event or where to go) and then, once the event was turned off, I haven’t touched her again because it just sucked the fun out of it for me. For that reason, I much preferred witch hunts that were just there and you could turn in skulls as you pleased or capture sorcerers as you cleared camps. It felt way more natural and immersive to me than what Sacred Hunt was.

I have the same problem. Been there like 3 times got the notes but cannot advance the story. Anyone got a workaround?

I logged off, went back to Stormwatch and reaquired the notes. Then when speaking with her she finally snapped out of it.

Not sure why the server I’m on has become the most played official, but it has been down all day as far as I can tell. Still not listed. Not sure what to think. Maybe too much and it nuked the server.
