Utterly despondant with the company now. No mention of fixing / resolving the Nemedian Foundation issues and how thousands of players have lost their loot and no apologising to us for having paid for the use of the foundations in the first place. #refusetopayanymore
I just did some investigation and 1 million players lost their loot. I confirm this.
Is it safe to put stuff back on Nemedian Foundations again? or should I just rebuild using a different foundation
For all those that are patching right now, the Pets HP increase will make it so that when you log back in, they will not be full HP but half-ish HP ![]()
Noticed the hp increase too. Hope it’s damage too because these pets are useless.
Been Friend and player to conan since launch.
Been through a lot. Mostly bad things, tho - For that funcom never really interacted with their paying customers, fans and supporters how they should’ve. Still, i was there for the ride.
I Put so much time, work and stress as a player and modder into the game, so much money for dlc’s and for the Bazar (which is extremely overpriced imho) - And yet, Funcom still ingores my every feedback, my every thought. As a player, as a fan, as a small part of the community.
I don’t feel valued anymore, and that won’t do.
So many broken things, so many bugs, so much untested garbage in which literally no single thought went into… Not sure if Funcom doesn’t play their own games, sure feels like it. They literally ignore voices and feedback, questions and pleads on the daily, and i’m sick of supporting this. While official servers are under constant fire from exploiters and cheaters - Ruining economy and fun - That funcom ignores to address, private servers are under constant fire of broken mods, glitches and gamebreaking errors.
I’m sure this sounded like a rant… Kinda was, to be fair - but i had to get this off my chest.
Its great that we get hotfixes, but I didnt notice a fix for the “treasures falling through the floor on restart” bug?
It seems fixed. We didn’t notice a single one falling through ceilings/foundations after this restart

Researched armor recipe still doesn’t learn the epic version!!!

Hi Ignasi. I love this game, I have 7400+ hours in it. It’s my number one favourite game of all time. I love REH’s books. I love the Conan movies, all of them. And the comics. I even love the old TV shows. When Age of Sorcery came out on the Beta Client it was the first time I was ever compelled to keep playing testlive - I racked up close to 290 hours on testlive due to that. I could not go back. I loved it. I can’t speak for anyone else but myself here but there are really two main things that stopped me from playing since Age of War started.

Stamina/combat changes: while I tend to tinker with stamina regen on my own servers and single player to speed up the regen a little, it was always just to make it a little more dynamic, because I hated having to walk slowly around the NPC for an eternity before my stamina even thought about regenerating. It didn’t feel good. So I sped up the regen but only while standing. Means I am taking a risk, can’t do it in the middle of combat, need to tactically find a safe spot to take a breather or just wait till stamina is back. And it makes sense: take a breather, gather your energy then jump back in. But it’s not instant. But I also increased NPC damage and reduced their delays to make it more dynamic - which seems to be what the dev team has tried to do. Sounds good on paper. I like anything that makes it feel like I have more agency, and more risk. But what I’m experiencing so far in the couple of times I’ve logged in on the Official Siptah server I still play on (refreshing once a week at the moment, not playing for long at all) is almost no risk. One shotting most things with light one handed axe attacks. Greater Sabretooth pet killing the Green Dragon, Red Mother, Locust Queen and 3 skull Lacerta boss one after the other with barely any help from me and often with no food to heal it. There’s zero challenge in what I’ve seen so far. If no pet and doing it myself, also little challenge - less than before. It feels like you’ve taken it way too far. Needed a tweak, not a revolution. I also don’t like the sound of NPCs losing agro within such a short range. It already drove me nuts when they’d take one step too far and run back to instaheal. I would prefer the whole camp running after me, trying to corner me, having lucky escapes, doing stupid things and somehow surviving (or dying again, whatever). I would highly recommend spending more time testing this on a few servers (even one in each region) before rolling out to all. Go back to how it was while we all figure this out. I know it was tried in testlive but I don’t think you had anywhere near the numbers testing Age of War as you had for Age of Sorcery. Because AoW Ch 1 has not really brought much to be excited about - just changes to combat that I personally don’t like at all. AoW Ch 2 and 3 look like they could be more fun. But in AoS the excitement started in Chapter 1 - it was freakin awesome. AoW CH 1 feels like a filler. And one that’s causing a LOT of player concern. And really, it seems to me all the changes to stamina & combat were just server settings. Why not (as I’ve brought up before) just play around with the settings on some ongoing main branch normal official servers? Why do all officials have to have the same settings? Why tie these changes to a new age when they are just settings tweaks? Why not have some variety in the settings on Official servers and let people make their mind up which they like best? Maybe some will like these new settings and be happy to play on a server with those settings, while others like me choose different servers with different settings? Why do all official servers need to be cookie-cutter? Here’s the heart of it: I would be playing right now, probably with a new character starting from scratch (which I love doing) if all I got was the Age of War without the stamina and combat tweaks. I could play singleplayer and change those settings myself, but then I lose the social contact. I could play on my G-Portal server and change the settings myself but I cancelled it recently due to their ongoing failure to fix the GUI for mods (oversized images etc). I really want to play on Official, but without those server settings changes. If I can’t, all good, will just play something else. But wish I was playing Conan Exiles.

Conan didn’t need a nightlight. Nuff said. No offence but I detest this change, it needs to be turned off. Or at the very lest make it a toggle we can choose to turn on if we’re scared of the dark.
My other huge concern is the Nemedian Foundation stuff - has not affected me but my heart goes out to people who it has affected. Especially those who’ve lost hundreds of hours or more when they did nothing wrong.
Hoping Conan will remain my number one game. No desire to play it right now though ![]()

This is a genuine question and not an attack or a troll. I had yet to download the Age of War update, as I was waiting for a fix first. Has the root cause of the stability loss issue been corrected, or do I have to just roll the dice like everyone else and hope I do not loose my base or thralls? I would like to download the update, but I am very worried to do so. I am also happy to get an answer from any community member who may know. @Tephra would you happen to know?
