The Condemned staff team is dedicated to providing the best roleplaying environment that we can. We are a mid-core type server in terms of settings, with oodles of engaging content, custom quests, server events, and server-wide storylines. Here, you will find a reason to engage the harsh world of the Exiled Lands, seamlessly intertwining survival gameplay with high-quality roleplay. Events, updates, and additions are frequent, to ensure a lasting experience for players old and new!
Why should I choose the Condemned?
A quick rundown of the things we can offer roleplayers:
- Alternate starting quest. You will find yourself, not alone in the desert, but locked in a cage with other unfortunate souls. Your very first quest will be to find your way out of your prison by interacting with your surroundings, and in the process learn how our immersive quests function.
- Starter kit. We offer a kit for new characters, with mid-tier clothing, tools, crafting benches and building material, so that already during your first day on the server, you can establish a small home, so that you can begin roleplaying.
- Long nights. The server has a longer day/night cycle so that thieves and other skulking types can perform in the cover of darkness.
- Dice, skills and stats. Integrated and immersive dice system to assist with roleplay.
- Ravens. In-game mailing system via ravens.
- In-character classes. Staff-controlled factions offer classes involving lore/history, fighting/PVP, leadership and more, all held in-character, for the out-of-character needs.
- NPC-driven factions. The server hosts several non-static staff/NPC-driven factions which provide story and depth, and are reactive to player stories and events.
- Comprehensive ruleset. We offer a solid collection of rules, laid out to ensure that getting started is easy, with the subsequent rules accessible when needed.
- (Coming soon™) Custom server mod. To be launched soon is a mod created specifically for the Condemned, with tweaks and tools to improve quality of life, and add to the roleplay.
- Mature and friendly community. We strive to make our server a pleasant place to play, and no matter how depraved your character may be, OOC friendliness is part of our core server culture.
