Pick axe not mining brimstone

Pick axe won’t harvest brimstone

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Equip pick axe
    2.mine brimstone
    3.get nothing!

Came here to report the same. Only seems to be happening in caves to all ores. Started the other day. Occasionally it does work.

It works for me on everything except brimstone… I’ve mined coal, metal etc from caves too.

Have you tried in first person? I know I can never mine anything in 3rd person, same goes for shrubs unless I use pinpoint precision with that tiny recticle on it

Known bug, been there for a while (EA), seems it registers the pickaxe as an axe first, pick second.

I went in cave today had no issues mining with iron pick axe. There’s also a spot in water but need desert mask to stop gas inhaling.

Did you mean an iron pick or the pickaxe which is steel and higher lvl?
