[All non-foundation/pillar building pieces that don’t require to be docked to another object (I call them placeables) like furniture, standing torches, workbenches, wheels of pain etc. don’t retain their damage status after a server restart. Their damage is registered in the database table buildable_health, but reverts back to 100% after the server is restarted. The actual building pieces (Walls, Ceilings, Foundations etc.) don’t suffer from the same issue
I only tested it on a private EU server and in single-player with the PvP ruleset, but I assume the same thing is happening in all combinations of game modes, server types and regions]
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
- Place a standing torch or another placeable
- Damage it so it’s not at full HP anymore
- Shut down the server (or wait for a regular shutdown)
- Login after the restart
- Use a repair hammer to check the HP status.
