Player cant join server

EDIT: The server host changed the server and IP and he could join

Hi, here to rack your brains!

A long standing player to my private server has suddenly started to get “Connection timed out! Could not find server” when trying to join my server.

He can join other servers, both dedicated and non-dedicated.

I have tried deleting his character, making sure he is not on the blacklist, and altering the server time out settings to allow a longer period for him to join.

He has tried the usual: Clearing steam cache, validating files, running as administrator, completely wiping the mods folder, direct connect, searching for the server (it doesnt show for him), changing ports, a VPN, connecting through GPortal, updated windows, updated drivers

Any other ideas are welcome! Thanks so much!

Presumtion 1:
There are other players besides you two that have no problem connecting.

Presumtion 2:
You are running your server on same machine as client or a machine in your network, the player is not.

Let him check his/hers and you yours antivirus and/or firewall settings/changes/updates.
Change of provider maybe?

This was just brainstorming, to rack brains, please revise my presumtions and provide more info

EDIT: You mentioned Gportal, so my presumtion 2 may not be correct
