Playing the game from testlive branch causes the game to crash

Bug Description:

Launching the game from testlive branch will cause the game to crash during loading screen.

This happens only if I play the game from testlive branch. The testlive client works fine.
Using Windows10.
Game is installed on a different partition than C.
Testlive Patch 2.5, Revision (#303339/30002)

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch the game from the testlive branch (not the testlive client)
  2. start a new singleplayer/co-op game or join an official server
  3. game will crash during loading screen

Do a game-file integrity check. I played all the evening and half night without crash or special issues.

I did clean installation twice.

Are you playing on the testlive branch or the testlive client?

I play testlive-client.

Have two normal servers, so turning the game all the time isn’t so much an option. But the testlive-client has also some buggies, be warned. :wink:

Testlive client works for me as well.
I had problems with the Testlive branch that kept crashing. :slight_smile:
