Ya know. I just wanna say. I have been in software development, not as a Dev, but as a support specialist. I visit a place called GitHub everyday to check out code changes to a certain software I use. I provide bug fixes to this software and help figure out what is wrong. I have supported this software for a long time. One thing I have found out after all this time is:
When you go to fix a bug and actually fix it, you can introduce other bugs in different parts of the software just because of that one fix. It’s a hard job being a Dev. I am not one, and would not want that job. I am happy just helpin out. My only point is I wish people could understand this. Tracking down a bug is not fun at all.
I know, your all going to say; “But it’s been years and bugs are still here from early access”. Yes they are, this is the way it goes when you introduce new content into a game and try to solve new bugs when the old ones are still present. It’s not really the right way to do it but all these members complaining about all these bugs all the time and being angry about it is not making this process faster.
People should lay off the Dev’s and the team and give things a bit of time. Especially in this day and age with what the entire globe is going through. This post is not directed at anyone individual and should have probably been posted somewhere else but oh well. These are my thoughts on this.
