There are times when my follower seems to go into rock or thru a floor and i have no ability to target it. I could rescue it, but then i would lose all the gear i’ve outfitted him/her with. And since i’m within a few tiles of the thrall it seems a steep price to pay.
As such, I’d like to request ‘follow’ be added to the followers command list on the followers tab (between to clan and map). just right-click the follower in question and if it’s within normal range (10+ tiles?) it would start following. This should not require line of sight as the thrall could be under the base or in a rock.
really there a huge bug with the land as it is ive seen my thrall mid combat drop through the ground … thank god it was on follow … ive seen NPC jump and dispear into the ground … ive seen a thrall i would turn around and it disappear as if magic.
I dont understand how a landscape fail for thrall to walk on. It like as if collision was suddenly turn off for them. And some how lag is the cause of it.
This would be extremely helpful. So long as the Follower’s name is in white (i.e. in close proximity), I think it would be a fair compromise to allow such a thing to counter the bugs we’ve been experiencing of late.
Kudos on a simple proposal to counter a maddening bug!
@Ignasi This would be a huuuge boon on any servers where there’s no admin to use Pippi to rescue such followers – Console and Official servers particularly.
