Pressing F To Loot all crashes the game 50 50

Read my post again and tell me where I didn’t “investigate methodically.”

And no, I never trust when somebody says they tested without mods. People lie about that more often then they tell the truth. Just went through this on Steam the other day. Person insisted that a mod related problem was tested without mods, and when I pointed out which mod in particular was the cause of said bug, they suddenly went, “oh you’re right, its caused by that mod.” Another example was a server admin literally instructed their users to come on the forums and lie about the use of mods, but report a “bug.”

As for the OP, coincidentally, a majority of their recent posts mention the use of mods…

If I need advice on how to identify bugs in games after 3.5 years of working on mods for this game, I’ll let you know. Otherwise, zero need to bring this thread up again. Problem has been identified for over a week.

It’s a mod problem, and the majority of mods that caused the problem have been updated. End of story.

yeah man i removed all my mods and its still here i am not lying

Then properly test it with a fresh save with no mods ever used, and provide video and 100% reproduction steps.

With what you have given here is “press f = crash.” And, that’s all. You didn’t provide a crash report, no log files, next to nothing. If you had put this on my own discord, I would have tossed the bug report.

But since you insist it’s an issue, I tested it (again). Not able to reproduce on a server, on single player, on the dev kit, or simulated server dev kit. So, if you want things to be investigated further, then provide the means to do so. The few people who did provide information? 100% mod caused, and there is verifiable evidence to showcase that.

Well i uninstalled the game cause of constant frame drops and i am waiting for the so called BIG update so i can maybe enjoy it again

So you uninstalled the game, and are still claiming its an issue and refuse to provide evidence…right…okay…

Thread should be closed.

I am also curious to see this bug. I have not seen any reports from officials. There used to be an issue but it was fixed some months ago.

There are other crashes happening right now related to some animations but loot all is not one of them afaik. The only reports I have seen from loot all, are from people using mods.

Removing the mods is not always enough to test in a vanilla setup because the mods often leave traces in the database.

Furthermore, I have seen many reports from people claiming that they removed the mods just to get their crash reports and see all the mods loaded. This is why, as Multigun mentioned, we often request logs to confirm that the test was properly performed + to check for any potential clues.

OP has reported something but they have not followed the required template and most importantly they have not provided steps to reproduce the issue. If Funcom can’t reproduce it, which is very likely since we can’t either and there are no reports from officials, then nothing will be done about it.

Having to deal with numerous issues once the base game updates is a risk you accept when modding the game. Either play the base game unmodded or choose mods that are known to work and are properly maintained by their authors.

Wow. That’s the kind of toxicity that keeps me off the threads. You need to chill out. Talk about thread rage… sheesh.

Or maybe you should go about and read the thread again and see how Multi gets attacked when, after all, he is giving the proper information. But hey, sure, pile on the person giving the useful information. That’ll make things better right?

All I know is the guy said he had no mods and Multi said it was his mods. Then I get sniped at for suggesting no one jump to conclusions. And that’s ok? I’m out. I know you won’t miss me. These forums are still waaaaaaay too toxic. Enjoy
