Private dedicated server on home machine not appearing on server list

I’ve already made the report but I wanted to see if anyone else has come across/resolved this issue.

I’ve been running a home server on a fiberoptic line for years now, and just updated to the UE5.
Dedicated server launcher 1.9.0 IS set to UE5, and Players CAN connect with the direct IP/port but the server does not show up on the server list.

Is this just a timing/wait issue or is there something specific to UE5 that I need to unlock in the firewall or windows defender or something on my server machine? Or is it the steam can only track 5000 servers and my server is not popular enough to be picked up?

I’ve confirmed that the old UE4 Siptah server still shows up on the server list on the old version so its not any of the ports on my router. (I’ve rebooted it anyway).
Anyway if anyone else has the same issues or has solved something I’d like to know.

Have you checked the “Show Private Servers” box in the top right corner? I missed that the first few times trying to set mine up.

Did you double check your <%server%\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\Engine.ini> file to ensure ServerName was set?

Yes the “Show Private servers” is checked, all of them ("Invalid, etc.) are.

ServerName=Moontide Exiled No ping/Wipe 1-6x Harvest
This is what it looks like in Engine.ini but wouldn’t the Dedicated server launcher 1.9.0 set that? Is there a condition where it wouldn’t be?

OK, so after 1 full day my server showed up on the server list without having me change anything so it must be steam 's system:disappointed_face:
