Same problem here with NPC warps, delays in actions, long loading times.
Doesnât happen in single player.
Gets worse is mutiple players are connected and in difernt parts of the map.
Running dedicated server on a PC. Server uses no more than 3% CPU and no GPU, with 10GB used of 24GB RAM.
As many have stated, my friend and I are having the same issues (NPCâs rubberbanding and/or invisible while still attacking, extremely slow response times for nearly all interactions, bases taking a long time to load) with a private server.
The issues only appear to be happening when we are both on. For example, we first saw this issue yesterday morning when we first logged in. It was storming in this area, so we chalked it up to bad connection, even though the server is about 10 feet from my PC.
We logged out, then a few hours later I logged back in. I played for a few hours alone without any problems at all.
Yesterday night, my friend logged back in. The issues immediately resumed. After playing for hours without a problem, the game immediately became unplayable. He was only trying to move some torches around and couldnât even do that. As an experiment, I logged out of the game. The second I was disconnected, all the torches he tried to move suddenly moved. I logged back in, and the problems started again. I was in a different area of the map, so I went to the same area. That seemed to resolved the problems. Itâs an observation from the peanut gallery, but it seems that the game is having trouble keeping more than one area rendered.
Hope any of this helps and leads to a resolution in the near future.
Its a shame an untested patch gets release on a thursday just to ruin the game for the weekend.

I havenât played since the update, but people on my private server have been complaining a lot about lag and several other issues, like invisible NPCs and various other things that I didnât quite understand. It seems that Thralls are striking enemies from a distance. Anyway, just reporting it for the record. My server is hosted by GPortal and is for PC.
Initially, I thought about complaining to GPortal. But now, from what I gather, the issue is with the game itself. I hope they fix these errors soon. Itâs already challenging to persuade folks to play. Then, when people get excited because of the update, they log into the game and find it in this state.
I am also having issues with lag/desync when I first load into the server.
Weâve found that you can log back out to the menu, then rejoin is normally fixes the issues for us.
We are also experiencing major lag on our server. Many players have experienced multiple disconnects a dayâŚand at times all the players on the server get disconnected at once. Structures sometimes take a couple minutes to load in, or wont load until i relog into the same area. Itâs very bad, I have lost players over it because they donât understand itâs happening on a lot of servers. I hope a fix comes soon, this is badâŚitâs all bad.
Experiencing the same major lag on our server as well, and before this unstable update we had absolutely no issues with lag, or rubberbanding or invisible npcâs attacking you or thralls not following you or heck even the buildings having issues rendering in decent time. The game is now pretty much unplayable until funcom decides to do something besides investigate the matter. In my opinion being that Iâm just a mere pleb and player here, youâd think theyâd of rolled back this update, and began to fix what issues its been causing, so that while they do, we folks could still enjoy playing. Its very bad, and at first I too thought it was maybe Gportal, or mods, however its not its the unstable update. (shame devs release updates before they are actually ready all for the sake of a deadline, only to ruin a perfectly good game and make folks to wait for a fix) I hope everyone who is experiencing these issues report this to the forums here because funcom really needs to see how major this issue is and has become. (youâd think a server with 5 folks who only play on it wouldnât have this major major lag issue but we do)
NPCs teleporting all over the place, buildings taking forever to load, invisible things hitting and killing Thralls and all since Age of war part 2. Its practically ruined my server and people are not playing anymore. The ones that do play I log on to complaints. I have no idea what Funcom has done but my server is nearly unplayable.
Same issue with our server. After the update it has become almost unplayable. Lag, rubberbanding, enemy NPCâs glitch everywhere. Sometimes the textures do not load in and I am left looking at something that is even less detailed as minecraft, at one point I did not even load the terrain and was simply forever floating. It seems to get worse overtime, the server now restarts four time a day and it is still not enough.
We host on g-portal, have about 27 mods, I know that is alot but they are functional and I see alot of posts here from people that have very little to no mods and they suffer the same. Everything was fine pre the update. Nothing even remotely like this.
are you on a server with multiple people in multiple areas? The patch notes donât seem to make any mention of fixing that. I have to wait until after work for us to try it on our dedicated server.
