Problems with Archer Posts

I’m having trouble with Archer Posts. I can place them on crenellations but then I can’t place archers on them. Anyone know what’s causing that?

I have not had any issues with placing them. Are you getting the blue ghost image of the thrall? it is similar to when you place a thrall to guard a doorway.

Slaves must be equipped with a bow.
Anyone can install a warrior, archer, or dancer, as long as they have a bow.

yeah its buggy, i found a turn around that not working all time, simply disconnect and reconnect and sometime it solve problem

Yes, they can be problematical. Got one as a drop but couldn’t place an archer at it. Later got the recipe and another drop. Could place an archer at the dropped post but not at the post I made.

I don’t believe you can move them either. Gives you the option to move, but doesn’t actually move.

I have been able to move them without any issues.

Can someone tell me exactly how to find this “Archer Post”?
Seems I’m dumb… :crazy_face:

Here is the information from the Wiki.

I play a modded SP game and ended up spawning one in to place in Creative Mode.

Thanks, but I know that entry. But I absolutely can’t find it in the hammer menu…

OK, found the problem. Have to find a recipe in a purge… :face_vomiting:

Purges until lvl 7 are not so big deal. If you don’t want huge contest you can do until lvl 3. I believe you already have some Berserkers with end game gear, or even Darfari. 6 of them will be more than enough to give you victory without casualties.
The barkeeper and Iskaar will give you solutions to win even higher purges, gain all the recipes and rare thralls of course. Banners may seem expensive, but let’s be honest. What would we do with the gold if we won’t use it for our purpose. There’s literally nothing else you need to buy with gold in this game.
Alchemical base has become ultra cheap, 1 gold bar gives 60 dust.
So use your gold for your purpose, let the banners die and keep your population alive and kicking.

It’s not the purge, it’s to find a “nice” place for my Dragon… uhm… for my treasure vault, that the *** Stygians are able to find… :joy:

Try this - i position my posts as stand alone, soooo i grab the archer like im going to place them- then climb up the post where i want them- and then place them since i still have them “grabbed” so to speak.
