A while back I had used the archer post when it was introduced, and it seems working fine. I dont use it normally because mods do some better features for that than it, but it was a kind of interesting cosmetic at least.
Now the post seems not be working even in that regard.
Thralls put in the post leave it often, without a real need for leaving it.
I fired up the game in a test build without mods and anything else, build a castle with “archer towers”. During the purge mostly, but if there are wild life around, the archers often leave the post and then, even if they return, they do not go to the place they were placed, instead they return to random nearby positions, which in most cases do not “look good” or function.
Also, it wasnt perfect, but archers would at least know that if they are not seeing a target, they would not hit a target. Now, they fire arrows at walls “eternally” if not made to stop.
