Similar problems here on modded and unmodded servers, across PC and PS5 (possibly also Xbox). Bases can take >45 minutes to load which is only fixed if you log off and log back in (then it loads entirely).
This is of course made difficult by a lot of trouble connecting - with a low pop (<20) it takes an ok amount of time to connect. With >20 it can take a solid while (over 5 minutes) to reconnect. On private servers that have >40, it can take over 10 minutes or fail to connect altogether. This is a new problem, given that nobody had any specific difficulty connecting until yesterday
The rubberbanding is also really violent, with mid-level pops you can come across someone and see them run into a wall for over 3 full minutes, before the position if finally updated and they disappear.
updatingā¦ I kept performing some purges and at some point it allowed me to fix and buildā¦
But now the problem has returned and in addition the attackers cannot find a way, it is exactly the same base and the same path.
Please fix the game guys. I miss the stability the game had before this update. Id be fine if you had to revert the changes to allow us to enjoy the game.
Same hereā¦ tried all day yesterday. Took forever. When I finally got in, lagged like crazy. Was getting hit from enemy 5 miles away!

So, Iāve gotta be honest, Iāve really been enjoying this new Chapter and the changes that have gone on with Purges With the way things were for me before, Iād always have a very small, barebones base to avoid Purges when I didnāt want them (but also had to keep all of my workbenches/storage containers spread far, far apart to avoid overburdening the memory requirement and turning my base into a guaranteed freeze zone) and now, I can actually just build a nice, big base, if I want, with a treasury before I have to worry about Purges. Itās an opt-in mechanic, seems really fun now, and has even more tangible rewards; where it was something I generally avoided and had to try and find fun with, initially, itās now something Iām looking forward to engaging in!
Thereās just been one problem
I like my Partial Nudity for immersion, and this update seems to have fudged the nudity settings on this save. Theyāve reverted to None and no matter what I try, it wonāt stick. Iām setting the Nudity in the Main Menu to Partial before entering my game, and the setting seems to stick, there; entering the game, itās stuck at None, and becoming Admin doesnāt change that. When I then leave my game, the Main Menu settings also then display Nudity as None. It just really, really sucks, lol. Itās made me go from having this save and making plans with it into the future, to wanting to complete the Chapter and get all the rewards before promptly abandoning this save and making a new one simply to ensure Partial Nudity gets turned back on. Boo.
Welcome back @SamsonHF! I noticed my nudity settings reverted too with this update. Just to be sure here. We must set it to full (or partial) in both places. So hit the Pause button, go to Settings the āGameplayā menu and activate Nudity, then go to Server Settings make yourself Admin, and in āGeneralā go down to Maximum Nudity and activate.
I make sure to activate it in both areas before resuming gameplay. Also, sometimes I find I need to do the process in the reverse order for it to work. ie-activate it in General then in Gameplay, before exiting the menus. Let me know if this works.
Yes, exactly, thatās what Iām trying to do. Hereās what Iāve tried:
At the Main Menu, go into settings and put Nudity to Partial.
Exit/re-enter settings; settings persist!
Reboot game, entirely.
Settings have persisted!
Go into game.
Nudity settings states max nudity is None.
Change it, exit settings, re-enter settings, Nudity has reverted to None.
Become admin, change settings, exit settings, re-enter settings; Nudity reverted to None.
Exit game, check main menu settings; Maximum Nudity = None.
Change, re-enter game; Maximum Nudity still = None.
And so on and so forth. Iām not really sure what more I can do, which is whatās made me mentally give up on this save as simply a vehicle to ensure I get this Chapterās rewards
Itās been so long since Iāve had to think about this that I forgot thereās, like, three places to check; the main menu settings, the in-game settings, and the actual option underneath the admin menus I kept thinking to myself that being admin was supposed to make more of a difference with the in-game settings, themselves, and make them stick, but I forgot thereās that actual setting allowance under the admin settings.
My immersive nudity is back, I no longer feel the need to eventually abandon this save - cheers, CF!

Itās just frustrating, the same base, the same location, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnāt.
