Ugh is right if crafting can’t be started with L2.
I don’t even think which buttons to use anymore. I’ve been playing so long it’s automatic. And when they have the list of new buttons without the PlayStation equivalents I had no idea what the impact would be since they didn’t list specifics for us
EDIT: Long press of L2 starts/stops the workbench.
The PlayStation mappings were updated in my post near the top
My feedback, why for the love of God did you not keep the crafting menus alphabetized? I now have to scroll through EVERYTHING to find the Aquilonian Brazier!
I have also gray screened twice in the last 1/2 hour.
I was very excited for this update only to be let down by funcom once again . I have no idea who thought it was a good idea to get rid of the precision stack and split option. On top of that they absolutely ruined the ui and inventory accessibility. Im not even gunna go into details with all the bugs , nerfs and resource gathering limitations .I don’t understand why they would make such unnecessary changes to something that worked perfectly fine before. I honestly think they are trying to Purposefully destroy this game so people stop playing it because i see no other reason. Ive played this game for 6 years and this might be the nail in the coffin for me.
I was logged in 5 minutes. I was careful not to transfer lots of things to chests or workbenches since I’ve heard things disappearing.
While I’m trying to figure out the new inventory buttons, all of a sudden I hear grunts and I’m buried halfway into the foundation!
I was able to move into other foundations so I did that trying to get out. Until I got stuck in a chest.
Was able to move chest and then destroy the foundation to freedom.
Crazy!
Never happened to me before. I’ve found myself falling through the world on login before but never in a foundation after I’ve already been playing.
I’m glad I followed advice people gave about logging out on ground. I did that. But I didn’t know it could happen while you were playing!
As for the inventory changes, I miss the noise it made when transferring stuff. Maybe there’s still a noise but it’s definitely quieter. Not the same.
The quick split is nice. On PlayStation I found myself having to repeat the split command because it often didn’t work. Seemed to work every time.
But still trying to get used to the selection square movement when you transfer something to chest or workbench
And is anyone else’s selection square or whatever it’s called invisible when you open a chest? Now you have to move it with R stick to get it to appear. I don’t know where it is when the chest first opens.
The missing selected square highlight feature has been in the game for a while now. Good to hear they have brought the feature more to the forefront to make it more noticeable.
@Korupshn i checked and I have all 11 of my swords of crom.
I put mods on 9 of them. 1 had an earlier mod when I found it. I left one unmodded
But now all 10 modded ones have had the mods removed.
Even the one that was special from before two nerfs ago. And they’ve all been reset to the base sword of crom you get now like a fresh drop
So that sucks.
Bad news @Xevyr and @Tephra
Mods on sword of crom didn’t save them. They got mods removed and reset back to the new default. Even one I had from pre earlier nerfs got zapped back to today’s new version.
I thought they might do that. To be clear, they do have to go out of their way and perform an extra step to default items like that, it does not happen by the patch alone, but they realized how easy it was to do when they did it to the overpowered blood crystal spears and decided to do it again.
Thralls would have been able to use the nerf-proofed versions. Only the stats would have been locked in. They did this to prevent thralls from using the old versions with higher stats.
