Ps4 controller hasn't worked since the new map came out can i get some help

I had this issue a while back with a different update. Turned out the fix was to re assign the controller through the steam panel.

Log into steam go to big picture mode and find the controller settings then assign it to PS4 controller.

I am currently using a PS4 controller on the new map.
