I believe we can finally expect a PS5 upgrade?
An article on ginx . tv confirmed after a conversation with lead designer Dennis Douthett that a PS5 upgrade is considered
“At the moment, I can’t give any news on a PS5-specific version – but we know it’s something a lot of people do want. For now, I can only say to keep an eye out!”
I wouldn’t call that a confirmation since he could have easily said they were working on it instead of this. This could be something he is planning on next year and budgeted a new hire for but it still needs approval.
If this true, I look forward to purchase the ps5 ver of Conan Exiles. 
I will be salty if FunCom charges for the update as we pay season fees now. It is long overdue and the least FunCom can do to ps community, is to give the upgrade for free.
Well, the upgrade for Series X/S was free, PS5 version would be no different I’d imagine
