Has anyone been able to find Freya at the Volcanic Forge?
Damn. So they clearly broke Thralls and the way they currently work in game.
This needs to be fixed ASAP before release.
Apparently. But I am going to break and convert more thralls, to see how frequent is this bug gonna be, because the second converted thrall came up just fine.
For Freya’s Part 2: I went North from her Hovel map location along the trees, where she alerted to 1 ingredient. Next, I entered Lockstone Cave, where we found the 2nd, and Third was located south of Telith’s Island in 8/H under the rock overhang. If you run out of range, Freya will let you know you’ve gone too far, for this reason I chose to walk rather than go on horseback. I’m sure there are more locations but this is what I’ve found.
After doing both Companion’s Part 2’s, I’m at a standstill in the story again. Has anyone determined what the real life time -gate is or is it in fact based on server reset? As a single player, I don’t enjoy the decision to not let me keep playing. I understand allowing people to take breaks and get locked in the quests as Dennis stated in the Dev-stream, however, for a player who wants to run a conintuious story, this forced pausing is not enjoyable.
I just noticed that the main start-up menu not only moves, but changes!

I’ve only just finally gotten around to testing this myself, and from what I’ve seen a Jailor spawns in Dalinsia’s place but it has her character model’s looks. This makes me think that the Jailor does indeed take her place (As of right now).
That’s the million Obulus question!
As far as the cages go, I’ve mostly been finding the Barkeepers more than anything. My tavern is also not producing much results for hirables either. Whenever I return home, it’s empty and I need to stand by and watch it fill up again. Even then, the Patrons are 1’s and 2’s, I’ve yet to see a single Named Fighter or Named Crafter.
Thanks for checking, it seems it’s indeed as I suspected - we’ll have to hope we can find her in a cage or she just shows up in our tavern as a recruitable thrall. Imo that’s…horrible. Keep in mind Dalinsia is just one example, this will probably be the case with other named thralls.
Can we maybe get an official confirmation on this? @Caroll @Community
I guess cage thralls are entirely rng - you either get lucky or you don’t. From what I’ve heard/seen there is a cage in the mounds and one at the den that always has a barkeeper. Nice if you don’t want to be bothered with a purge for a barkeeper, but once you get your guy those cages become useless…
You’re correct about the cages, The one I found at the Den has what seems like a 100% Barkeeper spawn. So yes, one could obtain the Tavern quite quickly in their gameplay as the Den is not OP for new players than let’s say the Mounds would be to a new character leveling.

Remember this update was built.up on a flawed foundation
And we are just scratching the Surface
I was right about how badly this update can be…
I only hope this gets fixed in test live first and not get pushed as it is right now.
