Hey Everyone! I have a serious question. I want to purchase the battle pass. Unfortunately, I have been playing my USA account on a UK version of Conan Exiles. This was done because the Puritans of the USA decided genitals are bad. Since my account is USA based and uses US dollars and the game is UK based and looking for GBP, I get an error when I try to purchase Crom Coins in-game.
TL;DR version…
How do I buy Crom coins if the account I am playing on is a USA account playing on a UK version of the game? When I try to purchase 1,200 Crom Coins, the PSN tells me that “There is no content. It might not be for sale yet, or might no longer be for sale.” Would it work if I bought 1,200 Crom Coins in the US Playstation Store to use on the British version of the game? Or can I download the US version of Conan Exiles, buy the Crom Coins, purchase the battle pass, uninstall the US Conan version, download the British version again, and the battle pass be active in the British version on my US account? @Community
Once you have set up a PlayStation Network (PSN) account, it locks your region and you won’t be able to change it. Even if you move permanently to another country, you can’t freely change locations in the settings.
You’re gonna need @Community support to point you to the right place to make an official inquiry. It could be they want you to put in a zendesk request or simply to handle it via dm.
Typically if you buy an out-of-region game like that, you wanna set up a PSN account in that region with a fake address.
That’s how people in the USA take advantage of cheap PS+ prices in Hong Kong, by having an account set there, so they can order it and then it works on their main as well.
Thing is, are Crom Coins even on the PS Store right now? They aren’t coming up on any search.
Crom Coins can be purchased through your platform’s store, as well as in-game (excepting PSN).
NOTICE TO PSN: Currently, Playstation players are required to leave the game entirely through the menu and make the purchase from the store directly.
But I’m not seeing anything at all on the PS Store, unless it’s some kind of stupid naming (which happens ALL the time) in which DLC is named weirdly and not attached to it’s game, or in this case the coins themselves.
