Okay wow u guys were busy lol sorry im a dad an a husband that comes before a game its just a gamae an im just asking questions to b clear on stuff lol if ya build in the middle of water so u despawn nothing not a single animal or material an then u build a bridge to connect to land i can’t see how thats harmful to other player exp also on walls ive done it i have walled in bases i also only have that base where i do my purge it very much helps in purges so whys that bad

I first thought this was a zendesk ToC violation report. And since the OP has yet posted again it very well could be the screen caps for one.

Aside from it being clearly stated they don’t recommend building bridges. I personally wont report any simple bridge that doesn’t impede my use of the waterways. BECAUSE of the new treasure system and not being able to carry treasure over water. It makes bridges in some areas a practicality.

Bases are an iffy thing.
My base was originally built to do purges. I have a pair of low walls funneling to my main gate on the land side of my base. Never could get purge to go because of close by builds; abandoned and gone now. If i wanted to it wouldn’t take much to reset them to do purges so I left them.

Someone on my server got banned for building right next to me and crashed my base for my clanmate. They built in almost that exact spot with a large bridge and a base on it. It was definitely against TOS, as well as the fact that it was causing issues with my base. That gap of water isn’t very small. It’s pretty wide, so the bridge base can be a fair size.
Building on the edge of someone to stop there base from growing or lets be honest to b a jerk is unacceptable period i never never build were i can see another base an true an make as small a footprint meaning despawning things as small as i can old camping trick from real life lol make as small a footprint as u have to so u dont screw up the nature resources an animals plus its just being nice to other players right

It still doesn’t excuse the desire to build a massive bridge in that location whether my base was there or not. The base on the bridge wasn’t necessary since it would have had to be a really big base, or it had to be a long bridge. That’s a high traffic area too since it’s popular crossing point to the lower islands. I know this because I was actually banned in that location on the lower islands before the guy building next to me even started on the server.
Long story short, that guy is back on my server and still building like an ■■■■■■■. 
he’s got at least 12 bars in his tavern and a giant tower next to it. And that’s not his main base. His main base has like 20-something max yog shrines for decor.
Okay i can see ur point theres, i built a bridge to my house an decorated it so it looks good an theres i built a bridge made for king kong lol i see what ur saying i can understand so it kinda like everything else a wall around ur place or a bridge like were talking about earlier it needs to sensible lets say a two wide foundation bridge maybe some statues to decorate an some torches on it kool but an 8 foundation wide bridge king kong could easily stroll through is a stupid idea if we can agree on that then i think the problem just becomes selfish self serving people being well themselves in a game
It can’t be a long bridge either. That’s a long gap and if the bridge extends from the smaller islands to the main island, it’s a violation. I had a single tile wide bridge when I built there.

Which isn’t the ToC in question. This has only ever mattered for unique spawns; and even that not so much any more.
You’re the one violating the ToC and the player that pointed it out is a jerk.

Wow okay maybe you should ask more question before jumping to assumptions the jerk on the server actually said he wanted me to move cause he wanted to build there then went on to surrounded my whole base with foundations right on the claim line an put trees all over it an told me if i didnt wanna move he would just build more an more til he lagged me out so bad i couldnt play then he would build there so maybe stop making assumptions

Not my fault you neglected crucial information, that is on you. The way you wrote it read like he complained about your mega build so he was a jerk. Not that he had trolled your build and committed a ToC them selves.

This base isn’t to big, so why is it a ToC violation.
But you’re not trying to carry on a civil conversation, you’re trying to get affirmation it’s ok to violate the ToC.

I built a circle okay my base did not span a beach i never put anything on the outside of my base ur example with the pic is misrepresenting me that build does violate its just random out building for the case of decoration an blocking off also land clam spam so yes it violates i block nothing so whats the problem

See this is the problem even with examples people will not see the violation.
I walled in my compound but it was short walls so not a ToC violation.
My base was bigger, but not as haphazardly built or on a beach, so not a ToC violation.
The huge plaza I built for my half a dozen T3 benches, may cover half a map square but it wasn’t blocking anything so not a ToC violation.
