Does anyone know how, in single player (Admin or cheat code), know how to force a journal entry to ‘complete’ a specific step?
Here’s what I’m trying to do: In single player mode, on PC, I have run the Dregs dungeon several times. I’ve killed the Abyssal Remnant seven times now, but my journal step won’t “complete.” I have the staff, the eyes, fangs, meat, and know how to make the armor, but it just won’t complete in my journal. It still keeps saying I have to go kill it again. I’ve tried logging out and logging back in. I’ve tried leaving the dungeon and coming back and starting over from the beginning. I’ve even tried coming back to the dungeon the next week. So no reboots or resets have worked. Having done this dungeon multiple times, I’d like to just enter a code to ‘complete’ it and move on to other things. Anyone know the code to do that?
Is it really incomplete or has it just a black icon in your journal? Several of entries have just a black square and no icon.
Is it still displayed in the upper right corner of your screen?
Have you tried a new singpleplayer game? Doesn’t seem there is anything more to be done other than to trouble shoot it further and try to find the cause so it can be fixed in the future.
I have the same problem, but with an exploration journal entry. It’s still showing up in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. No idea how to remove it, and pretty eager for help! I’ve tried a few things described in this thread, also tried removing my bracelet when someone suggested that (supposedly, it refreshes some journal entries.) No dice.
