Question re: AoE Bugs vs. Solo Save Files

Platform: Xbox Series S

Issue Type: Invisible creatures and random crashes (e.g. the game crashed while it was idling and I was checking the forum.)

Game Mode: Single Player

Map: Both

As the latest update gets patched, I’m noticing like items that are working/visible on one map are still bugging on the other.

Q: Could my save files be corrupted regardless of the patch?

Q: Is there a way to reset my maps without losing either of my saved single player characters?

I’m mostly a builder, so I don’t care about rebuilding everything. I just want to save the characters with their stats, journey progress, knowledge, and emotes intact.

Hello,

We are aware that some items/NPCs are invisible and we’re trying to fix this issue.

  • Your files will most likely not be corrupted since the issue is with us, not your saves.
  • There is no way for you to reset the map/save without having to make another character.

With this said, since your goal is building and you’re playing in single-player, you can always use Creative Mode and/or give your character max level and the same items/stats you had before!
