There is no official wiki, the fandom wiki is maintained by the community. A lot of stuff changed in age of war, and the wiki is still updating.
Okay, so how do you get the epic recipe?

Are you using an Improved or better armorer’s bench?
Which Armorer bench are you using?
You can only craft (and see) epic versions in Improved Bench and higher, and as far as I know the Siptah scrolls such as Black Knight Armor always teach both the basic and epic versions 
Т3 bench use.
creating it is understandable, but I don’t see a recipe in talents, only simple not epic
I just tested and you are right, this is a bug.
Nothing teaches the epic version, it is unavailable to craft in any armorer’s bench even with the knowledge, so go ahead and use the Bug Report Template.
The only way to access the crafting recipe is in admin mode with the “UnlockAllRecipes” cheat
