Reinforcement Kits can no longer be applied to Torches

Reinforcement Kits used to be able to be applied to Torches. Glow Torch, Red Mother Torch. No longer, this issue came with the patch that added the new Master reinforcement kits.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Pickup a Glow Torch or a Final Breath of Red Mother
  2. Pickup a Reinforcement Kit of any type (Advanced or Master)
  3. Apply the Reinforcement Kit to the torch
  4. Nothing happens (it’s supposed to apply to the torch)

I don’t think you’ve been able to apply kits to regular torches for quite some time. I remember on my last server I had a glow stick with a kit and they stopped letting you apply them and I was super paranoid about losing my modded one.

The red mother torch did allow them until very recently, but I think it was an earlier patch than the one you named which stopped it.

I am pretty sure that it was an intended change in both cases, but I could be wrong.

I can confirm that we are unable to on ps4 as well.

Was changed short before Wine Cellar patch… In the preview video to the wine Cellar patch Alex was kinda confused and couldnt believe it… The lead designer.

So someone else scraped the function and didnt even say a word to the lead designer. But Funcom ran around in the preview video to the Wine Cellar with a torch which works for 1 hour :smiley: :smiley:

Funcom 1 hour torch good.
Players 1 hour torch bad!

You have to farm for the breath of the Red Mother in UC. Best torch.
