Religious Tools Crafting No Longer Create Zeal Yog and Mitra

Yog shrine in current clan and mitra shine on different clan no longer produce zeal points when creating their religious tools (basic cleaver and ankh). Created shrines in different areas as well of the map to see if the issue could be replicated and it was. I assume it may be the case for all religious tools but confirmed for Yog and Mitra.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Create Shrine
  2. Gather materials for religious tool
  3. Create Tool
  4. No zeal when it previously would

I thought somewhere a developer said that was an intended change. Can anyone confirm?

i’m not 100% sure but i think it’s intended, or at least it makes total sense this way imo.
You want zeals, well then you have to offer souls to those barbarian gods…
don’t you think it’s kinda cheesy to get zeal by using 3 stones and 1 branch?

I noticed this yesterday as well but figured it was intentional.

It is intended. Must take human sacrifices to gain zeals.
