Something I’ve been thinking about since when the rocknose variants were first introduced with Isle of Siptah: adding those variants as possible pets.
Currently we have access to:
Normal, Silver, Gold, and Living Mountain (Greater Rocknose).
But now, in addition to those types, there are:
Iron, Brimstone, Coal, Crystal, Obsidian, Ice, Black Ice, Corrupted/Demonic, Lesser Blood Crystal, and Greater Blood Crystal. I think there’s also two variants of Living Mountain specific to snow and volcano biomes.
It would take some shifting around for the possible food options, but it could work like getting the Corrupted Spider pet (spiderling MUST be feed demon blood or shadespiced demon blood to become a corrupted spider), where the different variants would take specific resources to obtain. Such as:
Crystal/Obsidian Rocknose: Crystal is a low chance for Obsidian Rocknose, medium chance for Normal or Crystal variant. Obsidian yields a higher ratio of Obsidian Rocknoses when fed in the animal pen. The Obsidian rocknose would server as a Greater version of the Crystal Rocknose. Ice/Black Ice rocknose could work the same way, with Black Ice rocknose serving as that greater variant.
