Rescuing Thralls too limited?

Right now, it seems like you are super limited on types of Thralls you can rescue. Exiles 1-3, Fighter 1-3 and finally Bearers 1-3 (which it seemed heavily slanted towards).

Not one crafter, not one dancer/entertainer. They’ve added the barebones of a great (possible) mechanic and then didn’t make it meaningful.

Weirdly, I think the improvised weapon Gravedigger fit that in Exiles. It was really a silly, not very handy weapon. Then in Siptah they added graves and grave markers and suddenly people were wanting it heavily because it was suddenly useful.

[edit] And, because I’m silly and didn’t even give a suggestion on improving it in an immersive way, I’ll add something here.

Jailor Key (added to some recipes) for…

  • Jailor Key of Fate (Jailor Key + Fragment of Power) Gives chance of crafting thrall upon opening a caged prisoner.
  • Jailor Key of Fate Silver (Jailor Key + 2 x Fragment of Power + 10 x Silver Bar) Gives chance of +1 tier crafting or fighting thrall upon opening a caged prisoner.
  • Jailor Key of Fate Gold (Jailor Key + 5 x Fragment of Power + 25 x Gold Bar) Gives chance of +2 tier crafting or fighting thrall upon opening a caged prisoner.

Of course, you can’t get higher than T4 / Named, but I think it would be pretty fair that if you invest in higher tier jailor keys you would no longer get T1 or T2s.

I think someone got a named bearer out of those cages… so, rmg gods at work?

I’ve heard of people getting a T4 here and there

It’s there to provide new players a bit of a boost, and thats all it really should be. It honestly is more annoying than anything with people just leaving released thralls in the middle of camps, so I would prefer they not give more incentive to open the cages.

How exactly would you rescue a crafter? They are essentially objects/accessories for benches and not placed thralls. It makes sense you can’t rescue them since they are not actually in the world.

They are a thrall in the real world that you have to knock out and then drag to the wheel. So you could have the same action of ‘click’ on the thrall do the same action that happens when you put into the wheel to ‘craft’ the crafter.

Same way you get the fighters/archers.

Agree for the starter boost, and can be handy for the first few thralls, especially bearers can be nice. And yes, i saw some rare T4 bearers over time.

I think the reason of left thralls is that most players have allready a follower with them when they free a thrall. Then if the thrall is kind of low tier, they let him on place, and never get him home.
If the thralls could be sent home this would help with this, not completely, but i imagine partially.

I saw one switch to ‘scouting’ and head home and it eventually arrived at my base.

I have got a named Archer.
Sadly. He died in Combat before I could rescue him.
I also got a Beast Tamer…

It’s the most useless system in the game make it better or just remove it that’s my thoughts on it

No, ya didn’t. Because scouting returns to last guarding position.

He did indeed show up in my base 24 hours later.
