Hail exiles!
I’m tempted to start a RP-server on Conan Exiles. I want the setting to be Conan, as humans. I’m no expert on Conan-lore but I like the concept without adding elves and orcs. I have looked around and found one that peaked my interest, but it was US-based. I’ll link it below, for you US people:

Pippi is a mod that I (hopefully: we) will have. The idéa is to keep mods to a minimum, but maybe with time more mods will be added. When things are up and running we can always discuss this on discord.

So what now? I’m hoping to find likeminded people (you?) and get started properly. I do love building but it gets lonely without anyone to show it of to. Jokes aside, I’m hoping others are excited to test out RP without the pressure of adding a million mods. I’ll update with more information when I have it. If this sounds interesting to you, please let it be known and make sure you don’t miss any updates in this thread.

I rented a server on G-portal, for now just 10 slots. The settings are not set in stone, I had to pick something to get started:

  • Hunger/Thirst reduced to half, even less when idling.
  • Purge disabled. While I personally like purges, I see no need for them as of now.
  • PvP enabled, there is no combat system in place yet. However, raidtime is limited to saturdays and sundays 18:00 - 23:00. Raiding is not encouraged unless there’s RP-reasons. (Stole that idéa from server listed in post above)

I’ll try to make a tavern today with Pippi-NPC’s so server is not completely empty. I think that a tavern could be a good place to meet up for new characters and such.
A discord will be a problem for another day.

So time for an update!

Near the sentinels (Statues along river) I’ve built a tavern and added some NPC’s with dialogue for you to check. There’s also a hidden quest with some good rewards for a fresh start!

Any luck with your endeavor?
If you’re still working on your server, could you describe the ruleset more?
We are looking for not modded server with PVP rules and RP-supportive community (I made a post today explaining what I mean)

I feel so bad for abandoning this post now. I had it for days and barely any views or replies so I gave up on this forum. We’ve changed a fair bit due to player demand and have 7 mods now, but I don’t see us getting more, possibly replacing one that we’ve had issues with though.

What rules would you like to know more about? Also, we have a discord: discord

I checked your discord and the ruleset of your server there. Unfortunately it’s not my cup of tea, so I am looking for somewhat different.
