The Exiles of Stonewall

The Exiles of Stonewall.

I started a G-Portal server. It’s near-vanilla with only Pippi as a mod (at least for now). A city with resources for players is being built using Pippi’s NPC Thespians. Quests, vendors, and resources are available. No racial, gender, ■■■, religious slurs or discrimination. Friendly to LGBT and all. PVE. Relaxed atmosphere. Can play or just hang out and chat.

Can warp directly to city at any time. Warp entry point is next to public map room, giving easy access to map room so you don’t need to build one.
Payday is every four days, giving you funds to utilize the merchants.
Players will be given their own merchants upon request.
Vendors for starting supplies, tools, and food.
Custom content is continuously being created (it takes time to build a dungeon)
Complex NPC interactions (for example, able to exchange different kinds of metal bars for flawless weapon of your choice using that metal)
Pet vendor for some basic pets and supplies.
Quests to earn more gold or other items.
Arena being built for events with prizes.

Added: Blacksmith in city selling hardened steel tools, weapons, and repair/upgrade kits. Steel tools can be bought at the vendor at the city’s south gate, these hardened steel tools and weapons can let players pick up the better weapons and tools a little earlier, holding off on spending points on those feats.

So a bit of a noob at all this forum and server thing. How can I try the server? Is it listed in the multiplayer screen of CE/PVE? I’m in EU so the ping might be poor as I see on BattleMetics it’s USA. Do I use the server address in direct connect? Sorry for all the Qs…

Sorry I didn’t see this until now. Things were getting a little crazy and it was hard to keep track of all of the forums. To find the server, you choose to play online, then choose PVE. Make sure the option is checked to show server with Mods. You’ll need to subscribe to the Pippi mod. You do that from Steam.

  1. From Steam, go into Community > Workshop

  2. In the “Search for Workshop” box, type “Conan” and then choose “Conan Exiles”

  3. Search for "PippI’, click on it when it shows up, and then click the “Subscribe” button. Pippi will be automatically downloaded.

  4. When you start Conan Exiles, you have to click “Mods”, select Pippi from the left-hand listing, and click the arrow to move it to the middle listing. It’s possible to have many different types of mods, but when you run the game, the exact same mods have to be loaded both on the server and client, and they need to be in the same order. For Exiles of Stonewall, the only mod needed (at the moment, anyway) is Pippi.

Thanks I added Pippi and direct connected ok. However before I’d even read the rules my character was losing serious life then the host kicked me off? I hadn’t even gathered a single rock, lol. So any ideas?

Sorry I didn’t see this. It’s been busy at home while I administer another server, this one, and try to get ready for the holidays. I’m not sure why you started losing health. It could be that you were unlucky and logged in during a sandstorm. When you log on during a sandstorm, you don’t get visual notification of it (it’s a bug). I’m not sure why the host kicked you off though. It could have been a glitch. Anyway, the server is still there, and I’ve still been creating content for it and will always help anyone when I’m on.

Added a bunch new things.

The Hospital: While it’s a stretch to call this little hut a hospital, it’s the function that it serves for “the town”. Players can purchase bandages, potions, and functional warpaints there.

Carpenter Shop: Dry wood, bark, resin, etc. can be purchased here.

Portal Room: Next to the map room is the portal room. Portals to various locations are there. While most (at the moment) are for warp points that are available to everyone, a portal exists for the area near the Black Galleon, giving players an easier way to get to that location for thrall-farming.

The Arena: This is a LARGE structure in the desert that will be hosting events (should we get enough of a player base). There are NPCs selling supplies and a “Battle Coordinator”. Talk to him and he’ll spawn some creatures inside the arena for you to fight. Creatures are spawned with multiple basic-level creatures and one boss creature. The creatures currently available are Frost Giants, tigers, and elephants. I have to warn you though, the boss tiger and elephant are pretty difficult to defeat, even at a high level. A portal at the Information Booth in town will take you right to the Arena, and a portal in the Arena will take you back to town (though you can always warp to town at any time).

UPDATE!

The Exiles of Stonewall was created when it had looked like the server I was administering for Afterlife might be closed down. On the contrary, Afterlife wanted to keep my server going, and most of my development efforts have been there. While I do keep The Exiles of Stonewall running, it gets extremely little usage. I strongly recommend that you come to our main server hosted by Afterlife. It can be found under the listing: Afterlife Rise of the Exiles.

It contains all of the features of The Exiles of Stonewall, has a larger user base (which fluctuates based on players’ availability and interest), has been under longer development, and has quite a bit more content added to it.

Emberlight has been added to Afterlife Rise of the Exiles. A new system based on Reward Merits has been added where players can earn merits by completing various contents and then cash them in for high-end equipment and supplies. We have a relaxed building environment and a helpful player base.

As with Rise of the Exiles, it’s an adult server, but is requested that we act like adults in that profanity is minimal, there be no slurs based on race, gender, sexuality, or anything other trait really, and that we’re respectful of each other. You can give us a try. Our player city, Stonewall, has a lot of resources for both new and seasoned players. You can get there by typing “/warp city”. Be sure to check out the Information Booth there for notes to new players and a changelog of all of the content we’ve been adding to the game.
