Server 6422 Continuous reboot

Bug Reproduction:

Random in time from 30 mins to two/tree hours

Building at this location, shown at C-9, causes crashes. I’ve tested it repeatedly in single-player. I also witnessed an online server that found a way to remove this NPC to solve the issue. I’m not sure how they did it because they refused to share. I assume there’s an option for it in the settings somewhere. I need to look into it further. I’m unsure if this is the only problematic location, or if there are others. This is the only one where there was a conflict on my server.

6442 has been doing the same, the Funcom team can check its logs, not filling out bug reports…

After today update… nothing is changed

IT’s passed more than 4days and NOTHING is done to solve this issue …

After last patch … server is still almost unplayable… CONTINUOS REBOOT still present

I confirm it. In fact, server 6422 crashes happen much more often, this is just a fixed number that is available to us.
P.S.: The history of how many times the server has been down is being wiped.

…and Battlemetric does register only reboots each 5min …and sometimes can happen many in 5min too :frowning:

Say thanks someone who spawns purges all time to crash server with starcaller. 1020 is same…

I doubt is tied to purge, we got crash in less than 5 mins from previous one!

well you can doubt, but i seen it how griefers use purges to crash server, there is no delay on triggering purges anyway, so if someone has enough wealth, start purge and wait till starcaller spawns, he will crash server, on 1020 its same, and i also play on 6422 and each time anyone triggers purge server just crash… funcom could just disable starcaller from purge and this crash will be fixed 80% , because i was near when some moron spawned purges after server went live and it crashed in less than 5 min… i even reported that player to funcom, but to 6422, i saw purge meteors not long before server crashed… so yep i can bet its same…

  1. Start purge
  2. wait till meteor caller spawns
  3. When meteors hit land or house, there will be loong delay
  4. Server crash
  5. server starts again
  6. repeat …

6111 was crashing so much over the weekend everyone pretty much gave up. server would come back up and within 5 minutes crash again. please don’t make us wait 2 weeks for a fix.

Also i know who is crashing server of 6422… Player name is Alex, spawns purges after it goes online, while on 1020 i already reported it

What funcom could do about it, is to disable starcaller till its fixed but yeap… when i gave info how they do it. its like - lack of info… so i need to sit online and record those griefers now all time and send video how they spawn meteors with starcaller to crash these 2 servers… or you all whos server crashing could do same, maybe then they disable starcaller, or think about something how to fix it not blame map in random spots…

could do myself but i am sorry i dont have so much memory to record 1080 video and send them around 20 GB long video of all day how 2 guys just on purpose crash servers…

I do not understand the reason why there want to crash a PvE server.
Pvp has reason…but PvE why?

Why do griefers need any reason, i dunno, could count up to some specific on 6422 , there was one player long ago that was reported for racism , griefing, ethnic hate and so on, and he himself explained reason why he bulks mega walls around is because of that server is based in germany not russia and others asked him to talk in english/german or go to play in moscow based servers, and this one alex seems friends with that one , but i aint sure, but well not much to count , if server crash like almost instant when i see one guy spawns purges …

In short , to idiots there no need reasons to ruin fun to others… Pvp or pVE… i dunno maybe the purge spawner thinks nobody will join and will be able to loot them, like it was before … but yep while purges has starcallers in them, the servers will crash most time untill fixed…

edit :
each time the server restarts i - well my clan looses some crafted stuff like furniture, chest, and so on, so yeah there is reason to grief, so others loose stuff i guess… log list of lost stuff is actually big enough…

By the way, it’s not stormcaller … because it’s impossible to force reboot in 2mins … time to launch siege and get out stormcaller is higher than that 2mins…

well try yourself, i also tryed to summon it once… the time stars fell it was crash :D…

Just tested … after rebbot there was only me … i just craft a armour piece and server crashed!
