Hi Funcom. Will there ever be a server in South Africa or any other country in Africa?

I didn’t knew you didn’t have servers in Africa. It’s sad, I totally support your post. I believe in my first steps of Conan years ago, I was watching a YouTuber from South Africa. His video helped me to complete one journey step, so all these years I thought Africa had servers. Sorry about that m8.
@HappyFaceOne you better be from Africa so maybe this it will justify your “false joke”. In any other case please delete this post, it is against the rules of the forum and I personally see it as a racist attack, so it breaks my heart thank you. Africa is a beacon of civilization for my eyes, the west including ancient Greece was started from African races too. Respect.

lol, your comment does present some humor. I can not speak on behalf of other African countries, but South Africa is way more advanced than what many people on the western parts of the world think it is (That just tells me the education system in western parts of the world is poor/sub-standard). Non the less, lets not digress from the topic. Companies should look at integrating servers for all game types into South Africa. I am sure the reason why people are not interested in a game is owing to this reason of not having a server.
Add a South African server, and the people will start playing.

I will add to this comment too. In 1995 I was on army. In Greece army is mandatory for all the young man. I passed through a lot of responsibilities, my commander had faith and trust on my face so at the end I had my own office. One friend of mine brought from his house his Amiga 2000. He had just one game, I believe if I remember correct it was “sensible world of soccer”. It was the first game ever that had the national team of Greece on it. All the weekend I was sending tickets “busy”, I didn’t even go to eat. A full weekend of gaming non stop. Monday morning I was a zombie. It was so important for me seing my flag in a global game, so I embrace it with all my “me”, ignoring all the danger I put my self in to. For me this weekend the world had stopped, there was nothing else only me and Amiga. Hopefully no bad consequences arrived from this action, just a beautiful memory of a 19 year old boy that did something stupid in a place that this action could lead him to martial court.
It is very important for a gaming company to include equally all the continents of this world, gaming is sports and must unite all the races globally as one. I strongly believe that people in South Africa will embrace the game more.

I am sure if companies saw the value in having servers they would but I don’t know a single game that has servers in South Africa. Do you know any?
Call of Duty is one that I know of that has South African Servers. Great to play on 20ping!
Have not viewed other online games, but i am sure there are the odd 1 or two other ones. I think Battlefield also has S.A servers.
In Conan, we are a clan of 6 people. All from South Africa. (I am waiting for someone to comment on this that we are probably the only 6 people in S.A that are still playing Conan, lol).
