Set's Tongue debuff?

Game mode: [Online private]

[Describe the bug here]
Not sure if this is actually a bug. Set’s Tongue applies a “Drunk” debuff… or at least that is what the icon looks like.
Wondering if this is intended.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Kill Shade of the Priestking
  2. Collect Set’s Tongue…
  3. Equip Set’s Tongue…
  4. Hit something with it…
  5. Notice “Drunk” debuff icon…
  6. Scratch head.
  7. Post on Funcom forum asking if this is actually intended.

Probably not intentional but the actual intended perk “cleansing” is broken and doesn’t work. It’s supposed to cleanse corruption but it doesn’t. Honestly there’s no other thing that perk could possibly do. As far as cleansing goes that what it means to me. Maybe I’m wrong and means something else to the devs but that drunk effect sounds like a bug. Lots of things went wrong with the game after the blood n sand dlc update was introduced

It’s draining poison out of you not corruption.when you get poisoned, equip Set’s Tongue and it will drain the poison effect fast

They should rename it to antidote instead of cleansing cause it’s confusing. Thanks for the info

Hey @Kurgan

Thanks for the feedback. We’ll send note to our team to make this debuff a little less confusing for players.

@Ignasi I just wanted to clarify, the Drunk debuff is applied to what you are attacking. I got a clan mate to hit me with it last night, and it applied the “Drunk” state on me… 2 stacks per hit.

Oh, in that case we’re editing the report to not confuse our QA instead :stuck_out_tongue:.
Thanks again for the clarification

Please note that this is a pretty nasty bug for PvP since it’s very easy to add drunk 10 debuff to people which is effectively disabling them.
