I updated my computer a few days ago. I changed my GPU, CPU, and RAM. I went from a 1080 to a 4070 and everything else runs much smoother, Conan is having this unique glitch. Occasionally little sticks of texture will shoot out from the environment or a player model itself (including my own). Today was pretty severe so I though I’d post here to ask. It happens at all levels of graphics. Low to Cinematic. I’d post a picture but I just made my account so I cannot. D:
I have a AMD Ryzen 7 7700, and a GeForce RTX 4070.
I can finally post a picture of it now. Has anyone seen something like this? The second photo isn’t placed fabric. It’s just a bunch of the glitches scattered across the area I’m in.
It might be related to the stretching but it is interesting that it’s only since updating your PC.
Have you ensured you’ve updated all drivers?
Have you tried other graphics settings (other than low - cinematic, the rest)?
Maybe play around the Nvidia panel to see if optimization helps?
The only thing that’s not updated is that I’m running Windows 10 instead of 11 but I figured if I was running 10 on the old rig, it should be fine here. As for other graphic settings, I wouldn’t know where to start. I’ll prod at the Nvidia panel but I don’t know what would fix it.
My in-game resolution is what’s recommended for my monitor. I also went to the Nvidia panel and optimized the game but that didn’t do anything either. Not sure where to change the refresh rates.
