Shallow Grave still broke

Bug Description:
Shallow Grave goes through all animation only no thrall is produced. Grave becomes locked until reboot. Error Container is locked A Ritual in progress. This was reported before w/o resolution
Bug Reproduction:
Normal drag KO fighting thrall to grave and craft

Wow, another person who’s modified their game and has the audacity to complain that the game isn’t working as intended.

Odd that this problem doesn’t exist on official servers. :roll_eyes:

Not complaining! Just asking the community about similar situations. Also running Amunets server transfer which could be the problem since I cannot duplicate the problem in single player using the same mods. Audacity implies disrespect and I have the highest respect for the developers of the game and the contribution of the mod community.

Here are the steps that I would recommend following, so you can diagnose it more clearly:

  1. Make a singleplayer game with the exact same modlist you use for the server.
  2. Try to reproduce the problem in the singleplayer game. If it doesn’t happen, then the server database must have been corrupted in some way.
  3. If the problem does happen in singleplayer, start taking mods out of the modlist one by one.
  4. Every time you take a mod out, try to reproduce the problem. When it stops happening, you’ll have a better idea which mod caused it.

This process doesn’t account for the possibility that it isn’t just one mod that causes the problem, but rather a combination of two or more mods. However, I think that should be really rare and I don’t want to suggest trying out all 2048 combinations necessary to figure that out :wink:

I have narrowed it down to Savage Wilds in the Amunets cluster. The others work until you try on Savage Wilds which fails and effects the other maps. Makes me think Savage Wilds really doesn’t do Sorcery very good.

Good, that means you have a path forward. I imagine Savage Wilds either has its own Discord server or there’s some other way to contact the modder and ask about this. :slight_smile:

Are you sure you listed all your mods?
The ones you listed in the opening post wouldn’t really cause this.

The answer is: Do Not Put The Shallow Grave Next to a Wheel of Pain.
The shallow grave was right next to the wheel and the thrall was in the grave but maybe interfered?
Moved the grave away from the wheel and it works.
Might also be entertainer thralls close enough to mess with the corruption gained using the grave.
