Dig the table, guessing it’s from a mod? Name please

:joy:

I believe it is actually Fashionist; otherwise it is Extreme Exiles

Hello,
here are a few photos of my house. I started with stone, and then I wanted
to convert everything in yamatai, because I like that, but according to my
calculations, I need an estimated 247 days to get the raw materials for it,
so I opted for wood …

Got a key for the yamatai set from the building contest so I’ve been playing around with that making jungle temples.

Been noticing a bit of trouble placing the ramp corners if there isn’t a foundation below them, though.

Yep. you could try stair corners, see if you like how they look at the corners. Stairs shouldn’t need a foundation under them.

Stair corners, while being able to snap reliably, completely disregards the entire purpose of my using the ramps where they are though. Ultimately it’s ancillary to the real problem being the wonkiness with building node snap points on certain pieces that have been popping up lately (or in the case of inverted sloping walls, always).

I’ve already devised a way around this though for future endeavors - though it does require use of multigun’s mod.

this is amazing, also I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smith without an apron?

All done in official pvp server 2 man operation also that’s a fraction of what’s been built i’d have to take a video to show the whole build off and we don’t even live in it hahahaha

Fantastic job, especially on a PvP server with 2 people. Loving the big hall with the statues, great idea.

I don’t have anything to share just yet - but I was wondering: does anybody know of some kind of placeable that would work for a sort of cloth roof? I keep trying to make something sort of like the souk in Khemi from Age of Conan but to no avail. I’ve been considering trying the black-hand tents or the big red ones and just sort of hide the poles in pillars but I’m not convinced it will work.

Depends on how you are planning to build of course, but as far as I remember the souk in Khemi was a fairly narrow passage. If that’s what you are going for, maybe the Awnings (Red, Green, Blue) would work better than the big tents. You could place them on the sides so the poles wouldn’t be in the way. Not sure it would work with what you have in mind but maybe it’s worth a try. Would love to see some screens once you have something to share, having good old memories from AoC.

I was considering those awnings but they’re a bit short. Since I cheat with mods I was considering trying to jimmy up some kind of sleight-of-hand using rotated stick fences and carpets. If the devkit’s install size wasn’t so prohibitively huge for me I’d honestly consider just making something myself (including those columns I keep going on about whenever suggestions for building pieces pop up). I’ll continue to experiment and hopefully I’ll have something share.

Here’s my builds from the 1972 PVE-c server.

looks so cool :+1:

I like trying my hand at longships. This one is being worked on(RP wise) by two Nordheimer carpenters.

I just recreated one of my PvP bases in singleplayer mode. I used parts of the latest DLC “Blood and Sand” and some basic parts of the game.

The building is small, so it’s hard to find, the walls of the pyramid are at a large angle and it is difficult to see when it is at a height.

I put the most necessary things in just 3x3 in size (5x5 with a corridor around) also found a place for a few hidden chests. Just click below

Show base details

The only entrance is from the top.

You have to go through a narrow corridor to the other side of the building, avoiding the guards.

The interior contains 7 work places for thralls and additional production structures, in addition, there are over 20 chests and a fridge.

In the photo without chests you can see better the work stations.

Above, we find 3 less important work places and a dancer. I hide the less important items in a smaller part / room with crates - they are close to the main entrance and easy to get to.

At the end few hidden chests

When we hide a larger campfire in our inventory…

We will find 8 hidden chests :eyes:
