I recently reported a clan on an official server for calling one of their thralls Raappisstt. Funcom investigated it and decided it wasn’t against their code of conduct. I feel it should be.

I don’t think so no. However this player probably ment the thrall would “rape” anything in its path, like defeating opposition, not ment in the sexual rapist term. I still think its stupid to call a thrall names like that and players shouldn’t. But offensive nah, maybe to some but everything can be offending and I don’t think the name was chosen to offend someone.

This is the millionth time you made a post about the rapist. We got it, it offends you. But because it offends YOU, and probably 2-3 out of hundreds, does not mean it is offensive. Come on, it’s a game, if you can’t handle virtual pixels with such names, don’t play official. It is not offensive, nor hateful/anything especially in games like Conan where cannibalism, murder, slavery is a core thing. Move on already.

It is not an expletive, so it is not against code. I’ve seen racist names, but not sexual predator names. The line is thin.

I for one, while not supporting of the name, am able to support the ability to have it, as I don’t want to inflict my standards, by virtue of my emotions, on anyone. That said. You are playing a game, set in a mythical, hyperbolic, representation of early human civilization battling with its utter savagery. You can kill and consume other humans. Enslave them as well. And this name is what gets you? I am sorry by I think there is more to you and your interactions with this clan, than just this name going on here.

I have seen plenty of people who have PSN handles worse than that. Not saying it’s right or wrong but Sony let’s it fly.
