Single Player Mode Vertical elevator not placing as expected

Bug Description:

Recently I have been experiencing a bug where it is not possible to place a vertical elevator (even with all basic required parameters met).
I left this alone until another player (also playing Single Player) posted a topic regarding vertical elevator placement.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Step 1: Build a suitable platform to attach a vertical elevator.
  2. Step 2: Attempt to attach the vertical elevator in the appropriate spot.
  3. Step 3: See notification of, Unable to find Valid End Location.

This is a recent “bug” that has not existed prior to the last update.
But it’s been a while since I used any elevators until about a week or so ago.
However, It apparently does not affect MP.
Also confirmed by other members now.
