Bug Description:

On a fresh Siptah map, there is something that is causing a drop in framerates when looking in its direction. It seems to be around J/k and 4,5, and 6. No matter where you are on the map, it happens. But when you are right on top of the area in question, you can look in all directions with no frame drops.

Bug Reproduction:

I went to different servers, singleplayer, had others do the same. It’s the same area that causes it and could possibly cause a crash depending on the console user.

I have been having the same problem for a while. Series X performance mode. It is not as bad farther into the desert, but it lags noticeably from a distance. Never had performance problems in the exiled lands desert.

My only theory of a cause is a plant that is abundant in the desert that is not common in the exiled lands. It is a tall, thick bush with high-resolution pine needles. They are also very densely packed in the harpy vault in the northwestern mountains which lags just as badly.
