I know the ending is getting the customary hate, but I’ll confess I rather liked it. I’ll say no more, for the Internet is dark and full of spoilers.

Season wasn’t the best but, for me, it wasn’t awful either, nothing a few more episodes fleshing it out wouldn’t have solved, can see books going the same way but more in depth
This is exactly what fantasy worlds need… more metal!!! Rock on! I also agree with Krul… a few more episodes would have fleshed it out better, everything this season felt a little rushed.
The ending wasnt bad, I liked it. It did alot of what i thought would happen.
I think my only issue was how they didnt really remind people. they kinda expected you to remember abunch of 7 season before hand. But 4-5 flash backs on tower, couple more at start of last episode. I don’t think anyone would have been blind sided. XD
I use to really really really hate theme for GoT. I would hear it in my room. ( I didnt get into it till that 2 year break…lol)
Once i started watching Vudu from 3 and on… and back at 1. It catches on.

Bran is like the medieval equivalent of an AI, and the Night King is like a virus.
I really really liked how Bran was chosen. Such a cool and logical arrangement. Out of all the failures of the plot, this one’s a redemption. I do hope they make a Arya spin-off

I am quite sure they lifted the eventual fates of everyone straight from Martin (the author of the books) which is why they feel so much better than the in-between bits on how they ended up there (which is not from the books). But it may just be my inner book-elitist speaking, it’s been known to happen.
Even with all the issues GoT has had the last couple of seasons, it’s still been an above-average show, it’s just that it used to be a great show.
